Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

I work in Human Resources and use Paycom for Talent acquisition, Time Management, Talent Management and Benefits enrollment. Paycom makes it easy to have all these categories in one location. It is great having all of an employee's information in one location for easy access and different departments. We also have Paycom Learning, which allows us to assign different tasks to employees for career growth. We enjoy not having multiple platforms to complete these tasks.

Pros

  • Applicant tracking is helpful to centralize job openings and applicants
  • Time off calendar makes it easy to see how many people are out in a day

Cons

  • Paycom generally has a lot of glitches. What works one day might not work the next.
  • I wish company resource documents could be viewed instead of downloaded.
  • I would like to delete a requisition even if I haven't made a decision about each applicant (i.e. reject, save for later, etc.)
  • I don't work with budgets so I don't know but we're trying to have employees do more things on their own to free up administrative time for HR and Payroll departments.

Would you buy Paycom again?

Yes

Paycom requires a lot of time, especially for creation of documents or new hires. You need someone dedicated to making changes and helping different departments speak to each other about those changes. Paycom is very specific so if you uncheck one box, that could mess up the work someone is trying to accomplish.
