Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We use Paycom for a full HRIS experience, tracking payroll, time, performance and scheduling. Our [...] has approximately 575 employees, some of whom work just a few hours a month, and others who are regularly scheduled part or full-time. Our setup in a payroll system can be very complicated because of this.
We are very happy with our implementation team and feel good moving forward as we "graduate" out of that stage.

- We have made suggestions which are specific to our organization, primarily around the ability for more than one manager to see and approve a time card.
- The ATS section of Paycom is relatively complicated compared to the Newton system we were using in Paycor. We are figuring it out.
- The system is more expensive than what we were using.
- After four payrolls, we now have 100% of our staff using the app to track their time.
- We have approximately 75% of staff using the "Approve My Check" feature, which allows them chances to ask questions before payroll is run.
- Managers are using the Personnel Action Forms well to track pay rate changes, terminations, promotions etc. This is saving HR considerable time having to chase down forms from 35 different department managers.
Our implementation team has been working by our side for nearly six months to ensure a smooth transition from our prior payroll system. They have been diligent about our weekly calls and training, yet understanding that some things can't fully be understood until they are worked on in the active, functioning system.
They did not dump us after the first payroll, and have stayed actively in touch with us for the successive 3 pay periods to make sure we are functioning well.

We had a lot of technical issues with Paycor due to the fact that they purchased separate software platforms and cobbled them into one system that did not flow as seamlessly as we would have liked. Our staff were constantly complaining that the app would glitch or that punches did not register.
This has been GREATLY reduced since we changed to Paycom. The fact that it is one software program written on one platform is hugely helpful to the way it runs in our organization.
