Paycom Review
Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
So we use it to pay people. One of the functions that our staff really like is the ability to prove their paychecks. That has been a big highlight for us, being able to catch things before we officially process payroll. Allowing people to be able to review their paychecks and make sure that they're accurate before it gets published. So that's one of the biggest things for us. But also just using it for our opening enrollment, benefit management, hiring and recruiting. So yeah, it's been pretty beneficial for us.
Pros
- So right now we're an end of year, so I would say as far as record keeping and processing adjustments, any adjustments from terminations to promotions or transfers, what have you. I think it's a very robust system to be able to track data and pull just reports and things that you need in various.
Cons
- There is one portion. So when you're submitting a personnel transaction form, a lot of times we can't necessarily, once a form has been published, it's on there as a record and if something needs to be rectified, we have to submit a new entry with the new data instead of revoking and editing and just going from the already established. So that's something as far as record keeping, having a cleaner system in that regard, I think that would be helpful. But I would say that's one of the smaller things working overall.
- To be honest, I don't think that I've been with the organization long enough and have reviewed that data in detail as my team. So I'm not sure if I'm able to accurately answer that question.
I would say they have been similar in ways, but I love how Paycom is also able to tailor their tools for the businesses. I think that's pretty fair. I think a lot of systems operate as a one size fit all, but I feel like Paycom, even with being with my last organization, going through demos with you all, the biggest thing then was cost for us. But now I'm being with this company and actually using, seeing how it works, I'm able to see those benefits, not in a way that I have a tangible number, but just from day-to-day operations.
I feel like it made a lot of our processes seamless. The human error, of course it brings that down. Some automation is always, well, I'm not going to say always because that's kind of extreme, but I would say for the most part, automation helps systems to run a little bit more. So I would say Paycom has done.
I've used ADP, I've used Paycor, I've used Insperity powered by isolved. I would say biggest competitor being paid for just because I see a lot of similar features and systems, but I do feel like Paycom is more, it just has some added features that our staff in really when it comes to how they're being paid and just being aware of going back to that. I think it's Beti, the Beti system, the paycheck, my paycheck, I think it's in Paycom's Beti system. That's the highlight. That's going to be one of the biggest highlights of Paycom.
