Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
Paycor is used within the organization as a time keeper agent. The business problem that this specific product addresses is keeping track of time spent in the filed vs time spent elsewhere. Keeping up with hours and perdiem. The scope of my use within the app is to approve payroll hours and perdiem paid out to the employees.
Pros
- Allows employees to clock in and out on personal AND company owned devices
- Allows employees to make notes in order to alert us of additional things or particular matters the need attention.
- Allows employees to send notifications to administraters regarding missed punch situations and also adverse app performance.
Cons
- Itr would be great if PAYCOR could be integrated with more apps that could assist in job documentation and invoicing
- I wish that I could approve payroll across all of my devices as opposed to getting stuck while approving on my mobile device. I CAN APPROVE while remote, however, it is substantially obstructive and give the feeling that it promotes the desk top option as the best choice to make
- If approving payroll in the rears, why must we always select the approval date? Additionally checking a box to VERIFY that I approve EACH team member's hours for that week is cumbersome due to the amount of employees that I am responsible for.
- Number wise, this takes field employees LESS time to execute their process THUS saving money in the field.
- This takes the office staff MORE time to process what the field is doing and costing MORE money on an executive level as opposed to an hourly or field level.
- The ROI was not considered while joining as the amount of employees involved necessitated a change in the previous system.
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved time, but I'm not sure how much. - I am sure that my HR and Payrol team has saved time, I however, have NOT. as a manager I spend MORE time utilizing this system and three others that are not integrated with paycor in order to verify the hours that have been submitted by the field employees and also verified by the HR/ Payroll staff.
I prefer Quickbooks, it was the easiest system to process, approve, pay, and log. Taxes were easier however it was the most expensive and we were all told that the changes were being made.
