Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity to process our payroll, retain payroll records electronically, and file all company federal and state payroll tax reporting for multiple state locations. Employees use Paylocity to submit time off requests and gain electronic access to their paystubs and w-2s. Management also uses Paylocity to track unlimited paid time off and to onboard new employees. The educational self-study modules are offered to staff to educate themselves on a wide range of topics.
Pros

Cons
- Knowledge base articles are detailed but not as helpful as talking to a person
- Length of time for coding team to address special requests seems long
- Reduced time expenditures
- More consistent processes
- Improved employee engagement in managing their own data
The minimal time required to process payroll is crucial and has allowed staff accounts to focus on other areas as needed. Paid time off and holiday tracking and reporting eliminate the need for time-consuming additional spreadsheeting.
We really have not employed these, as we use other communication and social media tools to address these areas.
