Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for HR, Payroll, Onboarding, and Benefits. With major growth, Paylocity onboarding makes it easy for us to set up our new hires and go thru the Everify process. Their I-9's are completed during onboarding as well. Once we bring them over into HR & Payroll, they are ready to go for the first payroll. We have automatic feeds with our benefit providers, including medical, dental, vision, HSA and FSA accounts, and 401k.
- Taxes - we rarely have an issue with tax payments and tax filings
- Check calculator - employees can see how a change might affect their net pay
- Benefits reporting is user friendly
- It is difficult to get some reporting completed, and custom reports take a long time to create and modify.
- There is no option to prevent W4 changes when a lock in letter is received.
- Consistent and accurate payroll and tax filings
- Payroll is easy to run and reports are returned quickly
Payroll is almost completed automated for Origami Risk. We do not use time tracking but if we did, that would make payroll even more automated.
We do use surveys frequently, especially with new hires and voluntary terminations. We use Slack for instant messaging, and our users do not log into Community frequently.
Paylocity is easier to navigate than Ceridian, but some things are not available to the user. It is reliable for payroll processing and accuracy. PeopleSoft is much easier to make adjustments to wages and taxes, but that is also an area where errors and/or fraud could be an issue. ADP is quite accurate and reliable, but offers less flexibility.
