Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity at all of our locations - from our manufacturing plant to our warehouses to our truck drivers. We utilize both the mobile timeclock and the on site time clock. It works well for us to have the ability to have employees have access their information no matter where they are.

Pros

  • Great customer service
  • works well to integrate with our manufacturing/warehousing systems
  • Easy for all levels of users

Cons

  • When using both HR & Payroll and Time & Labor - the ability for both calendars to merge together. That way any time of request would be visible on either calendar.
  • Custom reports have reduced time and errors in recording our weekly payroll into our accounting software. We have a large amount of accounts to code our expenses to based on location and/or position, so it eliminates the need to hand enter weekly entries.
Automation has given me more time to better our benefit packages.
Our employees like having the Birthday and Anniversary notices.
I have used all of the above in the past when working for other companies. While I didn't have issues with any of the others, Paylocity does well against the others. It has great functionality compared to the others, and I feel it has made the others step up and change their platforms (ie. Intuit)

Paylocity is great for multi location businesses - you can see up to the minute clock in/out results. And, as an Admin, you have the ability to enter information on behalf of an employee.
