Paylocity Review 2024
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and time tracking for hourly employees. We also utilize the expense reimbursement section and love that it integrates directly into payroll after approval. We love that all of these aspects are connected and in one system.
Pros
- Payroll
- Recruiting with the JobTarget and Checkr BG check integrations
- Reporting
Cons
- Transition of hired applicant from Recruiting to Onboarding section
- Integrations with employee benefit providers
- Self-Service enrollment for FSA
- 1 hour plus time savings on payroll processing days
- Many less payroll errors than previous system
- $1,000ish cost savings per month from previous system
- 401k integration with Fidelity saves an additional 30 minutes each payroll cycle
I wear many hats in my organization from HR, Payroll, Benefits, to Finance, Accounting, etc. All of Paylocity's automations allow me to spend much more time in more strategic areas and I'm truly grateful for the system.
We have a long-used SharePoint home page for our organization where we do more of the things that Community and Impressions are designed for, so we don't utilize these tools that much. Surveys, however, have provided a big benefit as we send out multiple surveys per year to track employee satisfaction as well as other things. We love the Surveys function!
Paylocity was much cheaper and appeared to have a much more streamlined approach compared to these other systems. I actually was not at the organization during the Paylocity decision making process, but our major concern was cost and ease of use and Paylocity has not disappointed! There are just some minor features missing that would guarantee we never look for another software!
