Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity as our HRIS for payroll, time and labor, recruiting, onboarding, and benefits. We aim to have a seamless employee experience from interview, to hire, to onboarding and beyond. Having so many solutions under one umbrella allows us a more comprehensive data view and more robust reporting on the employee experience.

The HR team’s capacity has been greatly increased by eliminating a lot of the administrative, tedious functions. We have eliminated errors through automation by allowing employees to add their own information in the system, and have also empowered our employees to manage a lot of their own information in real time.
We have been able to automate employee birthdays and anniversaries so no employee is overlooked for their milestones. We have not fully utilized the community platforms but can see the value in having the features available should we fully utilize them in the future.
Fairly intuitive. Different modules are easy to navigate between and give the feel it is truly all in one system. Other HRIS demos we have done felt much clunkier and Paylocity has been very easy to have quick workflows within.
Paylocity was the easiest from an employee perspective and also had the most intuitive workflows from the HR side. The ability to create our own reports was very important to us and the open API has meant it is easy to use and integrate with our other solutions as we grow.

I think Paylocity works great for small to mid-size companies that do not need a larger enterprise solution. We have able to utilize their open API to work with other services and internal IT capacities which is great. Larger companies that need very tailored solutions within the HRIS may find another solution is better for them.
