Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

We use QuickBase for numerous areas of data collection and storage, engaging every employee from ISOs and Commitments to Scorecards to On-Boarding/Off-Boarding Employees. It enables us to create custom applications for data entry and reporting very quickly.
  • Creating Quick and Customized Applications
  • Creating Quick Reporting and Graphs
  • Creating Custom Views for each area of your organization
  • Interfacing with 3rd party apps with the API
  • Allow Administrators to update email addresses and names of their users when certain emails domains are owned by the account. For instance, we have 5 domains, I should be able to edit those registered users
  • Additional Customization of "Homepages" of each table
  • Additional Customization of Dashboards
  • Additional Customization of Reports and Graphs
  • More HTML choices within fields
  • Easier form creation/modification
  • Ease of use for our employees is key. So many new technologies come out each day and they get tired of having to learn new things. With QuickBase, even if we create a new app, they are familiar with the interface, which allows for quick learning and adoption.
  • Excel,Custom In-House Apps,Microsoft Access,MS SharePoint / SQL
Quick creation, ease of use and administration, quick reporting.
Our custom apps in QuickBase would be difficult to mimic and reproduce else where. We love the ease of use, ease of customization and how QuickBase is continuously growing and incorporating new features. It's great that they listen to their customers and continue to make improvements.
Well suited for collecting data quickly and the many pre-made apps available will start you off if you do not know QuickBase.

Using QuickBase

450 - Our entire company utilizes QuickBase from Administrative Assistants to Process Excellence to our Executive Team.
5 - We have one main Administrator, myself. I have an expert level knowledge base to help customize applications on and on-going basis. We also have "Local Administrators" who assist in the decision making of improvements to our apps. They also assist the users at those locations and escalate issues to myself when they are not able to resolve.
  • Commitment Tracking
  • On-Boarding & Off-Boarding
  • Scorecard & Evaluations
  • ISO and Commitment
  • Custom Faculty Scorecards
  • Transfer Attrition Tracking
  • Dashboard data collection
  • Employee Self Evaluation Processes
  • Departmental Expense Tracking

Evaluating QuickBase and Competitors

  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
We love the ease of use and features within QuickBase. The fact we have a need and can log onto QuickBase and create a custom app in a matter of a few hours to a few days, is incredible. In addition, the new UX (2013) has only improved usage of the product within our organization.
I was not a part of the evaluation process and selection since I was brought in to support our Quickbase account after this was completed.

QuickBase Support

I always receive quick responses from the support team. They are knowledgeable and quick to jump into our apps to correct the issues. They also encourage knowledge sharing and encourage users to promote new ideas to improve the overall application. They work until they have the issue resolved - which is unique support!

Yes, we were moving to the new UX last year and our account representative set up several meetings with one of the tech support team members to ensure that all our users were comfortable with the new interface. They even created screenshares/webinars of our applications so our users were aware of the changes. How awesome is that?
