Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT

Raiser's Edge NXT is used as a database, [for] accounts receivable as well as organizing reunions and events. It's awesome!

Operational efficiency has been achieved when adding gifts. The others are a work in progress.
Easy to organize donors and gifts each day or yearly.
Some of other solutions that Blackbaud offers are being used by our executive director. He has shared how he was able to find a lost address or a potential donor, too.
We also use Financial Edge and we're very pleased with it's abilities.
I've used Financial Edge and have been very impressed with the functionality and accuracy. It's very well suited for non-profit sector.
[Raiser's Edge NXT is well suited for] Adding gifts and doing queries.

Raiser's Edge NXT Implementation

I've worked here for almost 24 years. When I started Raisers Edge, AP, GL and Payroll were separate pieces of software and it was ALL dos. It has come a long way over the last 24 years. I can't imagine using anything else. It's great software and has a wonderful support system.

It was good...a little overwhelming when the GL was introduced but it didn't take long before it was a breeze.

They always help us out...even if they have to go back to the "drawing board"...they'll solve the problem and walk you right through it until you are well satisfied.

Yes - You never know what crisis might pop up...it's good to have them to help you solve whatever your problem might be.
Yes - It's been awhile but I remember it having something to do with the Chart of Accounts in the GL. It took a day or two but they came back with a workable solution.
Payroll is very important to all of us so when the numbers weren't working Blackbaud stayed right with us until we were satisfied with the results.

Using Raiser's Edge NXT

It has everything we need to maintain information on all of our alumni...including their gifts/donations and a way to keep track of who has donated what and when. Then the ability to create "thank you" letters and receipts is great, too. The event management is a lifesaver. It keep track of the alumni that are attending, who their guests are and where they are to be seated. Keep up the good work, Blackbaud!

  • Easy to search what funds received donations and how much.
  • Easy to create merge files.

  • I think it's all relatively simple and easy.
  • There isn't anything difficult. If I had to pick one it would be exports but they're fairly easy.
Yes - Super simple and easy for the most proficient or to the newbie.

Raiser's Edge NXT Reliability

Because it's an amazing product...adjustable to any size organization.
The only time we have issues with it or we can't use it is when our electricity or internet is on the fritz.
Most reports load instantly. Can't think of any that don't.

Integrating Raiser's Edge NXT

It runs smoothly with rarely an exception.

Upgrading Raiser's Edge NXT

Yes - It went rather smoothly. Slight hiccups here and there but overall was great.
