Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We use Rippling for the following:
  • Payroll - payroll processing, state taxes, state unemployment, state worker's comp, benefit deductions, and garnishment deductions.
  • Onboarding - offer letters, NDA's, confidentiality agreements, benefits forms, and I-9s.
  • Offboarding - access deactivation, final pay, severance agreements
  • App Management - Trainual, Lattice, Slack, Human Interest, GSuite

Pros

  • The payroll system is incredibly easy to understand and use.
  • The integration with GSuite and Slack has saved our IT team a TON of time.
  • Time and Attendance has been very user friendly for our hourly staff.

Cons

  • The connection with Human Interest has been hard to use for rehires.
  • Having a new account for every time that you rehire someone is not easy to work with.
  • More accurate employee information
  • Less payroll errors
  • Increased compliance
Rippling's HRIS is similar in quality to BambooHR and Workday. However, where Rippling outshines those platforms is in its added functionality and connection to other portions of the platform as well as other applications. Being able to have our HRIS and Payroll Software on the same platform that communicate to each other seamlessly, is a true gift.

As for Paychex, the experiences are night and day. Paychex's payroll processing and time and attendance were both clunky, outdated, and frustrating to work with. Our users also struggled with this as well. We also struggled to get any kind of support the platform. With Rippling, payroll processing has been a breeze, we have had very positive feedback from users on the time and attendance app, and the customer support is always 10/10.
I have never had a negative experience with Rippling Support. They have always been super helpful, effective, and communicative.

There are some pieces that we had to work with the Rippling team to re-work to work for us, but overall super easy!
