Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
Rippling has helped us streamline onboarding for new team members. We've been able to effectively and easily automate processes for payroll and the platform supports robust integrations which allows us to effectively connect to the rest of our HR and app ecosystem. We also are exploring bringing in more adjacent functionality around expense management, in order to further centralize our operations
Pros
- It has a robust integration ecosystem
- The platform is great for setting up automations
- The platform streamlines onboarding and new hire training and compliance
- There is particularly powerful reporting via the recipes functionality
Cons
- The main thing is the UX isn't particularly intuitive and the platform is sometimes clunky
- The integration with Mainstreet isn't ideal and so working with that platform is tedious
- There are too many emails about tasks that have already been completed which might be an issue on the internal task management system
- Rippling definitely saved us 30% in time spent related to HR and Payroll on a weekly basis
- Rippling cuts down the time it takes for us to compliantly onboard new team members
- Rippling has saved us money on having to make a part-time HR hire with the automations and holistic support
Rippling beats Gusto on a few things. Rippling is more suited for growing and scaling a remote team in different states from a pricing perspective. Rippling does customer support significantly better than Gusto and is staffed with agents with technical backgrounds who can help a lot more efficiently. Rippling also beats with it's breadth of integrations and features beyond HR and Payroll
