Overall Satisfaction with Salesloft

My organization uses Salesloft for all of our outbound and inbound prospecting. For inbound, we use automation rules to identify new inbound leads in the CRM, automatically pull them into Salesloft, and use the campaign name on their record in the CRM to automatically add them to the correct cadence based on the action they took. For outbound, we create cadences based on research on the prospective companies and run automated and manual tasks to ensure proper outreach.

Pros

  • Automation rules. Love being able to auto pull leads from CRM and place them into cadences based on certain fields on their record in the CRM. Ie, a lead downloads a certain piece of content, they are tagged with a campaign in our CRM, and then Salesloft pulls the lead into Salesloft and automatically places the lead in the cadence correlating to that piece of content.
  • Tracking open rates and replies
  • Ability to see what other reps are doing to encourage collaboration and sharing of ideas.

Cons

  • A power dialer functionality to complete more cold calls
  • ability to rotate email domains to help with email deliverability
  • Say I send an email to a lead from Salesloft, not using the cadence features. there is no way to send a follow up email to that first email via Salesloft. This is annoying and should be possible.
  • Positive impact on following up with inbound leads and converting more "soft inbound" leads to take meetings with us.
  • Long term nurture sequences have kept contacts engaged, ultimately leading to more pipeline
There was a time where an automation rule was broken for seemingly no reason, I emailed support, and got a direct answer solving my issue within a few hours.
ZoomInfo Engage is too clunky to use. User experience is terrible and not friendly. Too many clicks to do many things that are much easier to do in Salesloft. The native integration to Zoominfo contact data (Sales OS) is nice, but is no better than the integration between Zoominfo Sales OS and Salesloft. We also churned off of Apollo.io because the site continually crashed while my reps were doing cold calls. When you can't use the platform, we can't do our job.
