Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris) is being used by the ecommerce arm of our company. It serves as an all-in-one platform for managing our ever demanding e-commerce operation. Though we use it mainly for content management, which is very effective, it is also a great tool for automating marketing activities which suits the preferences of customers. It is also a great solution as a source for our analytics in evaluation performance of e-commerce operation.

Alternatives Considered

When I entered the company, SAP Hybris is already being used. So far, we are satisfied with the tool and have not shifted to other solutions so far.

This tool would greatly benefit large enterprises with large volume of e-commerce activities. It is effective in total management of ecommerce platform. On the other hand, this might not be ideal for small to medium enterprises for reasons that: first, it is expensive and, second the detail might be too much for their own good.
