Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic SL1

Whole Org. We use it to monitor our keys systems and our customer's systems. Providing performance data and event data.

  • Need more PowerPacks for large vendors.
  • Can take some time to get PowerPacks updated.
  • Better application monitoring.
  • Fewer SLA credits.
  • Lower support cost.
  • Cost per man-hour for outages are reduced.
We are in the process of deployment of business services. However, I am excited to see how this will change the way we view monitoring and SLAs.
At this time we have not used SL1 to grow the business so to speak. However, it does allow us to provide our high touch services without having to add more headcount.
We are working on deploying the integration services now and that will allow us to get some real automation.
  • We were able to write customer monitors to watch all sides of our business including our domain registrations.
  • We have dashboards that break out groups and their devices allowing them to see when something is going on in real-time. This has allowed us to stop fighting fires and be more proactive.
At this point we have had no need to look anywhere else
ScienceLogic provides outstanding service. They truly care about partnerships with their customers. SL1 provides us a full realtime view of our environment and helps us to proactively identify issues before they can become an outage.
