Overall Satisfaction with Slack

I use Slack multiple times per day, everyday in my daily work life. I use it to communicate internally with my teammates. I use both channels and direct messages to communicate with others. It is actually the main mode of digital communication at our company internally, even moreso than email.

  • I would like to be able to change themes or colours
  • I would like to be able to have 10 people in a DM as opposed to just 8
  • The quick and instant messaging have been a lifesaver a countless amount of times.
  • People of all ages and backgrounds are able to pick it up quite easily
Slack is 1000 times better that Microsoft Teams in my opinion. I find teams very outdated and not visually appealing. It almost looks likes its from the early 2000s. Slack is much more modern and sleek. Better emojis and reactions with Slack. Also even easier to navigate than Microsoft Teams.

Best used for small or large organizations. I find it most successful in more modern or technology focused workforces. For example, I could not imagine an older and established oil company using Slack. It is great for having channels for people with specific interests or tasks. I also like that you can integrate other applications with Slack, including Zoom, Google Drive, and Slackbot.

Slack is my favourite instant messaging software. It is very up to date, and modern. It is also user friendly and visually appealing. I cannot comment on Slack support because I have never had to use it.
