Overall Satisfaction with Slack

Slack is the application/software that we use for our internal communications. It is by far the best internal communication software that I have used so far. We have channels for different departments which makes query resolution quite easy. It is simple to tag any team member or huddle with them anytime without inviting them to a different platform. The Slack notifications are on point and keep me updated with everything that's happening around me. Slack also helps me stay connected with my clients where this software is used for their internal communication as well. Channels are created with different clients to discuss issues instantly.

Pros

  • Creating channels and conversations are very simple
  • Huddle feature is the best feature for audio/video calls
  • Ability to tag any team member along with notifications for them

Cons

  • Easy ways to leave or delete a conversation group
  • Completely dark theme with jet black
  • The iOS app doesn't work if the app is opened using the notification
  • Improved productivity and efficiency in the team
  • A lot of time is saved due to faster collaboration
  • Better engagement with external parties/clients
Slack is a great tool for internal communication. The software is easy to use with a modern interface. The mobile application also makes it simple as we can access Slack from any place at any point in time. Features such as huddle, channel creations, other software integrations, surveys, polls, etc make it easy to collaborate which saves a lot of time.
Slack has the best features and interface as compared to all other similar software that I have used. Features like huddle, channels, conversations, integrations, polls, and surveys make it better than other similar tools. The mobile application of Slack is also smooth and better as compared to other similar applications.

The huddle feature makes it easy for me to connect with any team member instantly, especially for audio-based meetings. Huddle is used by everyone within the organisation. Open channels are created for different departments so that employees can get their queries resolved instantly. Private channels are created to discuss specific issues or concerns mostly related to our clients. The integrations with Slack such as Google Calendar, Clari Copilot, JIRA etc makes as it easy to stay updated for the notifications from these software as well.
