Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

We use Sprout Social primarily for scheduling our social media content on 12 different pages. More recently, we also added another member to our team, so we have been utilizing the "approval" feature. This makes is so much easier to ensure that all content that gets published is consistent with our brand. The reviews feature is also extremely helpful in allowing us to reply to individuals that share a Google review very quickly. We have 9 different locations, so if we had to go to each GMB profile to reply, it would take forever.

Pros

Cons

  • Allow more reporting options/breakdowns (I think these might be available with different packages, perhaps)
  • Share more webinars/learning tools to individuals that subscribe - I have loved your webinars when you had them
  • The Arboretum is a good idea, but it doesn't seem to be picking up much interest (that I've noticed). Perhaps more frequent webinars with useful info could help engage with users and the moderator could talk about the Arboretum, maybe mentioning specific discussions/topics within the webinar. Then inviting individuals to participate in a discussion on a certain day/time.
  • In the past year we have been able to increase our Instagram video views by 42.4%
  • We were able to increase our average reach per post on TikTok by 146%
It is very clear to understand where all of the features can be accessed. I do think some of the reporting options are a bit muddled with the different categories, but overall it is clear what data each option will be giving you. I haven't had any glitches or errors when scheduling content, and everything has been published smoothly.
I had used Sprout Social before, so I felt more familiar with it, but also I felt like for the price you got a lot of useful features. I also felt like these other platforms were more clunky and less user-friendly. Hootsuite definitely has some great tools, but it just didn't quite match the primary purposes we needed this platform for. SocialBee was not as built out/streamlined.

I feel like Sprout Social is well suited for many scenarios. I work within a marketing team of three for a small family-owned physical therapy business. Sprout Social is useful for us, just like I know it has been useful to much larger companies with more individuals and moving parts within their digital marketing team. If you are looking to streamline your social media content/scheduling/engagement/review management and gain easy to use reporting features to measure the impact of your efforts, then Sprout Social can help you too!
