Overall Satisfaction with Sprout Social

I work for a large company that runs about 43 different accounts using Sprout Social. It solves a to of problems for us by allowing us to publish post for each account without getting to overwhelming. We also enjoy seeing the trend reports that can help us determine if campaign is working or not. It's also nice because it can auto send those numbers to each client if you set up auto reports.

Pros

  • Very easy and simple UI
  • Extremely Helpful Customer Service Help
  • Easy to Read & Understand Reporting

Cons

  • I'd like to organize my groups by color in the future if possible
  • While you can now individualize post per network, I don't love that it becomes 3 separate post afterword
  • Some products that we have to pay for in the basic plan we just don't use. I wish it was more selective use.
  • Save time when either posting for all 43 accounts or just posting for 20
  • Reporting individual and overall data is something we did not have before
  • Responding to Google Reviews in one convenient place saves time
Yes, Sprout Social has helped measure where we stand with social. It shows us things we can hone in on better as well as if something worked well. It can also track your ads given you have an ad account. Seeing numbers has also helped us also develop more targeted audience per account!
I think it's very very easy. Maybe the easiest social scheduler I have ever used. However, recently I was demonstrating it to a co-worker who found it a bit overwhelming at first. There are many different tools in Sprout Social that we don't use so I can see how it does seem like a lot. There is also a lot of having to memorize where certain things are, but the hover dropdown with info feature helps a lot with that.
I will admit that I have not used Hootsuite, however, I do think if you have more then 40 or so accounts they might be able to handle that more. I have used Later Social & Buffer and I find Sprout Social easier to use and less clunky UI. Later & Buffer do work, but I used both of those for much smaller account holds.

Do you think Sprout Social delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sprout Social's feature set?

Yes

Did Sprout Social live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sprout Social go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sprout Social again?

Yes

I think Sprout Social is great if you are a creative firm that is planning on offering social media management for 10-20 clients or less then. It has easy was to show the client what you are working towards/what is scheduled to post and sometimes even gives numbers to back it up. I will say if you start to get to more accounts like 30-40 it does work, but I find it's much harder to keep all your accounts connected (ie instagram accounts API) though that can happen with less accounts too.
