Implementation Rating

Implementation is very quick and easy. Installation on the machine is very simple. Once installed, setup takes only a few minutes to configure and with the ability to use mobile, testing the installation was working right there is a great feature.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use TeamViewer to easily gain access to workstations and servers for the companies that I service. This allows me to be remote as well as the ability to provide faster service vs travelling to each location to perform maintenance or troubleshooting.

Pros

Very easy to use
Mobile friendly
Fast, efficient and doesn't bog down the client machine with "bloatware"

Return on Investment

Being able to actively work on a machine from a remote location provides not only fast responses but also equates to cost savings as I don't have to travel to the location
TeamViewer also extends my ability to perform work for companies outside of my local area

I started seeing a ROI within the first 6 months

Alternatives Considered

GoTo Meeting and GoTo Webinar

I have previously used the suite of GoTo products for the same functionality that TeamViewer has. While the GoTo family provides the ability to host meetings and webinars that TeamViewer does not, I found that TeamViewer was a much easier platform to work with.

As mentioned previously, it excels in the ability to provide remote, fast response support to access machines (desktop and server alike) The ability for me to access a Mac even though I'm running a PC also is a huge plus! It makes it very versatile and enables me to provide great service to my clients.
