Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

Its very easy to set up and configure. Just make sure you have you users and user groups set up similar to your companies Active Directory users and groups to make it easier to manage. Same thing with setting up the devices. Try to use the same format and groups to the devices side of TeamViewer
We use TeamViewer to control and work on employees computers. We have about 15 remote workers and TeamViewer works great. We can install software, Chat, and pretty manage the whole computer with TeamViewer. It is great that we dont have to use VPN to connect to it can connect anywhere in the world with the ID and Password.

  • It would be nice to have a backstage option to join with out user being aware
  • I would like to be able to send install jobs to computers with physically remoting on.
  • It has saved me time and money. I dont have to drive to physically fix remote users machines
  • It make it very easy to update and manage the software on remote users computers.
  • Can easily help customers with questions
on the first remote session where I didnt have to get in a car and drive to a location.
TeamViewer stacked up very well. Has most of the same type of features and It also has a free personal version to use. I like all the features and the direction TeamViewer is heading. We picked TeamViewer because of its ease of use and its secure connection. And the many functions.

We have not really taken advantage of these features. I mean single sign on is a must feature we use but thew other features we have not taken advantage of yet. I believe we will get to this in the future.
I think the unattended feature is awesome. Working in IT and being able to control any one of our owned machines at any time is a must feature. This allows our Tech Team to remote and change settings on any PC with no external users input. This is great for employees who forgot password and cant get into the machine to allow my remote access. I don't think there is an areas that something would be less appropriate.
