Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We connect to fuel servers to troubleshoot pump faults, and look at customer transactions. We also use it to triage unplanned outages, where possible.
Pros
- Connection to remote host seamlessly
- Remote control
- Bandwidth adjustment based on connection quality
Cons
- If a user connects to a host to show the wallpaper, and another user connects to hide the wallpaper, the original user may not know which machine they're on, because we use wallpapers to identify which host they're connected to, especially in cases we use TeamViewer to use other hosts to RDP to other hosts
- Cost savings of travel
- ease of access for remote sites
- great for remote work & training
- ease of use to connect to work computer if not on call, but called in to help
They both feel the same. Different UI obviously, but they both seem to have the same capabilities
