Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We utilize TriNet for all HR needs, such as payroll, time off, performance management, onboarding, recruitment, benefits, training and more. As a small company with under 50 employees, it is simple enough to utilize on a daily basis, and gives the proper guidance in regards to compliance needs. The system is user friendly and my account manager contact generally answers any questions the same day. Our plan is to grow and it is nice to know TriNet does offer enhancements such as training materials and time and attendance platform for when we have more employees who may be non-exempt and have to utilize clocking in and out.

I generally get an answer within 24 hours when I reach out to the TriNet 360 tool. TriNet also offers your own account manager, whenever I reach out with a question I get a response within 12 hours (generally less).
It is an easy system to utilize. I wish sometimes things were a bit more customizable such as the reporting side of things, but overall it is very user friendly and if there is something you cannot figure out there are a ton of manuals available as well as the TriNet 360 support which can answer your questions within 48 hours.

I came onboard with my current company after the pandemic. However I have seen many trainings offered on how to handle COVID-19 in the workplace. They also do have contacts to help with updating company policies and recommending what may fit your organizational needs best.

Coming from an 1800 person company to a 30 person company, it is very different. I can see how a platform like TriNet is better as it already has the basics available to you. Workday was a great platform however needed a-lot of technical assistance with getting things going - this is something that would not be helpful to a small company whom may not have the employee base to help assist with some of the integrations and technical support required. However, TriNet has that already done for you.
It is a great system, especially for smaller companies in my opinion. There are some features that can be customized and training opportunities offered weekly by TriNet to employees. I would like to see more areas available for customization that would work best for the organization, for example on the performance management side.

Using TriNet

30 - All of our employees utilize TriNet in some matter. However myself (HR) and our CFO are the ones who mainly utilize the system on a daily basis to assist with HR and Payroll needs.

Yes - We had utilized Zenefits prior but wanted something a bit more in-depth as our plan is growth.

TriNet Implementation

I did not personally deal with the implementation. However, my colleague did and mentioned it was not difficult just very tedious - however many implementation processes are like that.
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation

No we did not at this time, due to size of organization. However our account manager is a great resource.
Yes - we had an issue with some payroll tax reporting in a state we had a remote employee. Our account manager handled our issue and came to a resolution. Nothing was missed. It did take some time, however that is expected when dealing with a state.
