We use TriNet for our payroll, personnel tax docs and benefits (medical, dental, eye). As a small start up without a full-time HR person, we were looking for an all-in-one tool.
Pros
- Setting up new employees is a fairly simple process
- Enrolling in benefits is easy and they walk you through each step.
- Reviewing payroll, submitting bonuses is straightforward.
Cons
- It isn't always clear what the compliance process is.
- In the unfortunate situation of laying off employees, the process isn't explained without getting help from a representative.
- TriNet has made payroll and benefits management easy for us.
- We spend little time having to manage payroll and benefits after initial set up.
