Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

As a nonprofit, we used TriNet to manage our employee information, onboard employees, and provide access to benefits. We also have launched our performance evaluation through TriNet for the first time this year, and have found success through the platform. My HR Manager and I now use The Wing to learn more about the TriNet platform and to connect with other business professionals.

Pros

Cons

  • offering tutorials/training for setting up reports in TriNet to analyze data
  • ensuring consistent clear updates to PTO - allowing HR Authorizers to check current rates for levels of employees to ensure it aligns with our internal rates/communications

  • We have used TriNet to build more trust with our staff through accuracy of information
  • We have propelled our process of staff self-evaluation and manager feedback to better understand our progress
  • We have used TriNet to help our employees access their time, benefits, and pay
Overall, the system is set up for a new user to navigate it pretty well. However, I'd like to see better ways to help Trinet users access, view, and analyze their data to make more actionable insights. For example, we recently completed our Perform evaluation and still are unsure as to how to best view the self ratings and manager ratings through a report.
Overall support is good - TriNet representatives know who to connect us with from their team. However, there are often lag times (a few days) that make it hard for us to follow up with requests in a timely manner.
We are considering using the Engagement Survey this next year. The benefits are that our staff are already familiar with TriNet and trust the platform with their data. TriNet also offers insight through consultancy as well as as best practices for the Engagement Survey. We may not end up using it, however, due to the cost.

TriNet helped us set up and launch our performance evaluation process this past year and continued to show up when we had multiple questions. TriNet also offers a way to access all the information we need in an easy way through the dashboard feature. Finally, TriNet's secure platform helps build trust with our employees as they submit personal and professional data.
