Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
We use TriNet for payroll, benefits administration, Leave Management, and HRIS. In our experience, as long as everything is standard with zero changes, payroll does great. If there are any changes or one-offs (which there normally are) they do not perform well. People are hard to get ahold of and don't respond in time - payroll has a very clear due date and they blow past that constantly. In my opinion, the Leave of Absence team is terrible. Extremely unresponsive (as you see in other reviews) and cause employees not to get paid. There is no direct line of contact there, even when you ask. I wouldn't be surprised if emails are totally ignored in that group. We don't have leaves often, but when we do, in our experience, they are always processed incorrectly. It's a shame, it's one of the only things we use TriNet to do.
Pros
- Basic payroll with zero changes
- Open Enrollment Communication
Cons
- Leave Management
- Customer Service
- Responding to Questions or Issues
- Case Management
- Transparency in Invoicing
- Transparency in Contact Information
- Payroll Accuracy - but we can no longer trust them after they didn't pay an employee and didn't tell us
- HR Compliance - they send posters when needed and flag new reports
- The benefit plans continue to improve and BCBS invests in places that matter to us
In my opinion, TriNet is old and slow compared to some of the others.
