Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard
We provide a variety of services to our clients, including but not limited to strategy consulting, software implementation, and reselling of other software. In all of these various communications, there are numerous opportunities for information mishap, as I like to call it, like misunderstandings of platform capabilities, project updates, and reseller introductions from our partners' confusing prospects. This is where Vidyard comes in to help us clearly communicate and articulate who we are, our offering, our purpose, and point, where we stand on a current project, etc. Live calls are difficult to schedule when we are such a small team serving several time zones, so asynchronous video provided on-demand is a brilliant solution.
Pros
- Providing lots of capabilities to the freemium offering.
- A wide scope of video platform solution sets.
- Thought leadership on best practices.
Cons
- Long term pricing strategies: prices and feature sets change way too frequently and often contradict previous years.
- The UI is very difficult on the back end. This is coming from hefty experience.
- We are booking more meetings.
- Communicating our position as a reseller partner much more effectively, and earlier on in the deal cycle.
- Internal enablement of processes.
Using Vidyard
10 - It is a wide mix between revenue operations (the team that I sit on), digital sales, customer success managers, and other internal collaborators.
1 - Having a creative mindset is key. Understanding how data works together and how people's behaviour and understand is impacted by visuals also helps to strategize the use of Vidyard.
- Asynchronous videos to reduce meeting times
- Quick walkthroughs of bugs or ideas
- Demonstrating new releases internally
- Share troubles and pain points with external vendors' support teams
- Cut meeting times
- Secure internal videos for onboarding
