Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

The pandemic certainly accelerated our remote meeting needs. The complexity of our remote meetings also changed. The need for multiple device connection capabilities and the number of users at each meeting became increasingly important. The record and replay features are also excellent. These needs and a consistent platform in the sea of many other platforms were critical in the decision to use Webex.

  • View variety.
  • The continuity in a pandemic experience has been worth the investment.
  • Booking webex is easier than booking meeting space. This is a time and safety saver.

While some of the other platforms have great features, the ease of Webex won us over. It is compatible across the board, easy to navigate, and intuitive to use and that has been very helpful. Finding meetings is also much easier on the platform, The one-click add through Outlook is a huge time saver as well.

Webex works great on repeat meetings where the structure is similar. The chat is also quite efficient and you can capture the chat for review later. We designate a meeting or video "producer" to handle the chat and that has increased the ease of use. Meetings over 200 are not always easy. This is where we occasionally struggle.

Cisco Hybrid Work

We were fully remote for 12 months. Then some teams remote and some hybrid. Now all teams hybrid since October and it is giving us the best of both.
We actully use many different platforms but webex is our go to product. It is simply the most consistent.

Using Webex App

500 - all corp functions use this. all are on hybrid work schedules which make this tool more important to the ease of doing business. Use varies by department but are are able to use. 10 % of total in use are fully remote.
1 - We have our IT department for help but no one is specifically desegnated just for support here. There is a do it yourself approach to traininng and trouble nshoooting

We use multiple apps that are similiar. Each has pros and cons. Webex has been the most consistent with clarity and connectivity. While extra features are wonderful nothing matters if you arent connected. So for this reason alone it is our continued choice.

Evaluating Webex App and Competitors

  • Ease of Use
We use this platform with our clients as well as inter office. It has to be easy to use and reliable. This has given the most consistent performance to date. We still have a few employees who prefer their platform of choice..... but this is the go to solution.
Stronger training and more consistent adoption. Still a work in progress

Webex App Support

Some of our issues are more of an interal tech or connectivity issue to Webex support cannot assist. On the occasional need for tech support they have been timely and helpful. We also cascade all help learnings throught the org to prevent repeated need for support. This approach is a definite best practice.

Using Webex App

Webex gets the job done. It allows for all level users and multiple device connectivity. The one click add feature in Outlook is excellent. Pandemic and beyond it has strengthened our ability to meet at any time and anywhere. The chat feature is excellent. Our overall experience is quite good.
