Webex Calling Makes Hybrid Work Easy
Overall Satisfaction with Webex Calling
In our organization, we use Webex Calling as the core communication platform for voice calling, replacing our on premise PBX systems. We use it across multiple departments and locations to enable seamless internal and external communication via cloud based telephony. We can make and receive calls through desk phones, desktop applications and mobile devices, no matter where they are located.
Pros
- Reliable call performance with high quality
- Multi Device Experience
- Integrated collaboration and calling with other Webex tools
- Scalable across different locations
Cons
- User Interface could be more modern
- Occasional sync issues with devices
- Whiteboarding export and sharing options could be more
- Increased our team productivity
- Great business continuity and reliability
- Scalable growth without complexity
Yes we use Webex Meetings alongside Webex Calling to streamline how we can move between calls and video conferences. If a phone call needs deeper discussion, we can escalate it to a video meeting without switching platforms. We also use Cisco desk phones and room devices that are deeply integrated with the Webex platform. The key benefit of the other Cisco products is consistency across communication channels.
One of the things I appreciate most is that the security features are enabled by default. Another thing is end to end encryption for calls and signaling, secure SIP and encrypted voicemail storage all work in the background. This ensures a secure calling experience from day one. For meetings that involve our clients we can control access through waiting rooms, PINs and access and host controls. Overall, Webex Calling provides secure and frictionless experience.
