Overall Satisfaction with WebPT

I utilize WebPT on a daily basis for an outpatient physical therapy EMR, scheduler, billing software, and analytics/marketing tool. WebPT has significantly improved our documentation as well as decreased our cancellation/no-show rate with the scheduling features. WebPT has helped save staff time in sending records requests and making phone calls to patients as well.

  • Flowsheet format is hard to follow for patients with many visits. A grid format would be easier to navigate
  • Hard to search for scheduled visits without being in patients case
  • HEP program can be confusing for patients to log into

  • Decreased loss of revenue because of authorization issues
WebPT has decreased our overhead in terms of marketing needs with the utilization of REACH. It has also decreased staffing time spent on patient intake, appointment reminders, and contacting patients who have fallen off of the schedule. Productivity reports have helped us to analyze and evaluate staffing needs as well. WebPT has done wonders for our documentation tracking.
WebPT has significantly improved our compliance with plan of care, progress notes, and authorization tracking. WebPT clearly shows visit numbers and will not allow documentation when an evaluative note has not been completed. Documentation requirements for Medicare and workman’s comp are clearly shown as required documentation which has greatly decreased denials and rebooking, saving us time and manpower.
Web PT offered many more features, such as automated appointment reminders, digital patient intake, a home exercise program, digital benefits verification, smart text-in documentation, customizable documentation profiles, and analytics reports that were unavailable or difficult to use in TheraOffice. The integrated fax and email system is a feature we did not have available to us in TheraOffice as well.

WebPT is great for multi-user, multi-location practices as far as scheduling and documentation go, as long as users are on the same computer or laptop at all times. If a user uses multiple computers around a clinic, they cannot be logged in to more than one at a time.
