Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use Wrike for general project management for the operations side of technical project deployments to track tasks, timelines, and dependencies. We also utilize it for team time tracking against project timelines and specific project phases. Additionally, we use it to create staffing need forecasts based on the existing project blueprints.
Pros
- Easy blueprint creation and maintenance
- Easy usage for time tracking
- Ability to create external views
- Ability to export data
Cons
- Easy of moving common phases between projects
- Speed - sometimes reports spin for a bit
- Wish it would highlight timeline gaps as potential user error
- Our ROI has been focused on time savings - no hard number but we save a lot of man hours not manually creating Gantts and trying to manage projects solely in Jira
We have not explored these.
We used Trello (free version) previously and it worked for us for when we were smaller and not ready to spend on a true PM software. The other options either did not fit from a functionality or price standpoint when we were comparing them. Smartsheet checked the boxes we needed.
