Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Analytics

In my organization, we have all our important data inside Zoho Analytics, and it is something that we keep growing every day. With all data in one place it is easier to generate reports and dashboards for all our business needs, and also analyze the performance of campaigns for our clients.
  • Charts and Reports.
  • Pivot Tables.
  • Dashboards.
  • Better UI for query tables.
  • Revision history (to revert alterations).
  • Backup system.
  • Improved daily analysis.
  • Quick result's overview.
  • Power to the team has insights from data.
Zoho Analytics is very easy to use. People with 'Excel' skills have a very short learning curve until start to use it to create their own reports and data visualizations. Also, for more tech-skilled people it is possible to create mode detailed data manipulations using SQL, and also visual customize your charts and dashboards, giving the visual look from the company.
Regarding working with large datasets Zoho Analytics can do very well, since there are multiple ways to connect to your data, from simple databases to large data warehouses. You can also create extractions and data manipulation with custom queries in SQL directly in the Zoho Analytics import process, without the need to ask the IT team to create a custom view in your DW just for you.
Since Zoho Analytics already connects directly with other Zoho products we already use, it was the best choice since the beginning. By comparing with other vendors of course there are some features it doesn't have, but when comes to cost it was killer, and having fewer features was not a huge problem to our business.

Zoho Analytics Implementation

If your external data sources are previously organized and correlated (e.g.: in your datawarehouse or database) your implementation will be easier. Of cource some not previously predicted correlation would be necessary to be done during the implementation, but if your organization let it to be all done into Zoho Analytics, it will take more time from your team.
Yes - We had broken up the implementation into two major phases: the first one was focused on sync our Zoho CRM data (which was simple and native from Zoho Analytics); the second was to integrate other data sources and create tables and relationship with Zoho CRM data, in order to generate reports for our business.
Change management was minimal - We didn't have much organizational change or impact on it during the implementation because we were previously well organized with our data in Zoho CRM, and we kept the same into our Zoho Analytics data and reports. All dashboards, views and reports inherited the same organization as we have in Zoho CRM.
  • Correlate different data sources (not previously correlated)
  • Integrate external sources
  • Create custom views
