Zoho Reporting to the rescue!
Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Analytics
Different departments are using Zoho Reports for different tasks. It's been very helpful for us for testing purposes against our own APIs as well as for aggregating data from multiple sources. Our executives use it for heavy data analysis to help create models for both financial and forecasting purposes. Our technology department uses it more for testing.
Pros
- Automation - The ability to pull in an API feed using a scheduled task makes it as easy as "set it and forget it".
- Scalability and performance - We have never run into an issue with too much data, it always performs well.
- Ease of use - The easy to use interface makes it usable for all levels of technological sense.
Cons
- Wizards - It might be helpful to have some cookie cutter type wizards to help new (and less experienced) users get started quickly.
- Tutorials and Help - One thing that I find is that some of my team who are not as tech savvy end up coming to us to ask questions as they can't seem to find answers to their questions easily.
- Automation of data syncing has had the biggest positive impact on our team
- Having all our reports in one easy to use system
Since implementing Zoho Reports, we haven't used anything else as it very much fits our needs at this time. We found that it was easier to use compared to other systems that we had tested out.

Evaluating Zoho Analytics and Competitors
Yes - We had our own home grown system. After many years of analyzing our data in house, we outgrew it and were in need of something more robust and reliable. We tried a few other products but settled on ZOHO for its ease of use, and flexible pricing structure. We are able to integrate our own systems as well as other systems we use with ZOHO very easily.
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
We are always price conscious so price was a big factor. We were very interested in scalability which ZOHO clearly had. We knew the name and knew that it had features that we planned to use later on down the line so getting familiar with it would make it easy when the time came to expand our needs.
I think that our team did a good job in identifying ZOHO as the right product for our team. If we had to do it all over again, I think we would land in the same spot. We looked at some other products that were either too expensive or had so many features that it made it complicated to use. Zoho covered al our bases.
