Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Analytics

My organization has used Zoho Analytics to create custom analytics dashboards for digital marketing (importing data from Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and time tracking (integrating with Zoho Projects). Zoho Analytics is accessed across my whole organization, but only the operations department sets up/manages dashboards due to the complexity of the platform.
  • Tons of customization options.
  • Sleek dashboard templates.
  • Integrates well with other Zoho products.
  • Difficult to use compared to other dashboard platforms.
  • API connections to non-Zoho sources are not reliable.
  • Easily report on time tracking data, allowing us to make informed business decisions that increased ROI.
  • Helped us decide that another data visualization platform better fit our needs for digital ad reporting.
Difficult to use if you’re integrating data from a variety of sources. Other dashboard solutions have far easier setups, and API connections are more reliable.
Zoho Analytics does not have reliable enough integrations with third-party platforms to be an effective scalable solution. Integrations often break, making maintenance more difficult than it needs to be. The system also lags when too many data sources are added.
Zoho Analytics reports on other Zoho app data well, but it’s no match for bigger players like TapClicks, Google Data Studio or Tableau for visualizing external data. Zoho Analytics is very complex to set up, and certainly not for beginners. Beginners would be better off using TapClicks or Google Data Studio, while advanced users would be better off using a more powerful platform like Tableau. Zoho Analytics falls somewhere in the middle, but doesn’t offer enough benefit to justify using it over similar products.

Do you think Zoho Analytics delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Zoho Analytics's feature set?

No

Did Zoho Analytics live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Zoho Analytics go as expected?

No

Would you buy Zoho Analytics again?

No

Zoho Analytics works well if you are looking to display data from other Zoho applications. My organization used Zoho Analytics to create custom reporting dashboards for time tracking data from Zoho Projects, and it was a great solution. If you’re looking to integrate data from a variety of external sources, you might want to look elsewhere. [In my opinion] Zoho Analytics is not worth the hassle, especially when you could set things up more easily with a tool like Google Data Studio, Tableau or TapClicks.

Zoho Analytics Support

[In my experience] support often doesn’t understand the questions they’re being asked, making it difficult to accomplish anything.
