Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

Zoom Workplace is used to hold remote meetings for our entire company. We have weekly sales meetings every Monday morning just for the sales team, and then company wide meetings (25+ participants) about once a month.


The main business problem the product addresses is the ability to work together and more efficiently on projects across company departments and geography in the simplest manor. It's an excellent product.

Pros

  • Allows sharing of screen
  • Intuitive design
  • Ability to summarize meetings at the end

Cons

  • Zoom needs to separate itself from all of the competition out there
  • Perhaps use AI to suggest readings for team members after each meeting to further enhance engagement and knowledge
  • It has allowed better inter department communication
  • Is a bit more expensive than competitors
  • Improves knowledge sharing throughout the company
I don't currently use it and rely on ChatGPT and CoPilot for those things
Zoom Workplace is certainly the superior product, but MS Teams gives it a run for its money due to all of the AI integrated features that MS CoPilot has added to the entire MS Office product portfolio. If Zoom added more AI features, and possibly something similar to ZoomInfo for lead generation, that'd be a huge help

It is well suited for company wide and department specific meetings. It is less appropriate for assisting you in creating presentations, which would be a great feature and comparable advantage to MS Teams and Skype
