Great visibility of asset assignment to user but not so good if you track also assignment of user rights through CI for users. It would be nice if you can group types of assets/configuration items to user not to show everything mixed up. There is great options to adopt product to your particular needs, there are options for adding some special fields in process automation to help to have tailored process from enduser fill in forms to complex workflow which utilises various specialists

  • PTS: needed to bring a new senior marketing team member up to speed on how we got to our current TV campaign
  • Solution: Series featuring consumer insights, why specific spokesperson, agency brief, the entire creative process - scrips, animatics, rough cuts, feedback, and testing at each step. Including the actual creative from each step.
  • Total time to build: 1 hour
Concept testing:
  • PTS: things get lost, findable but version control
  • Solution: everything in one placeConcepts, testing, IHUTs, verbatims, videos with transcripts. Reduces the possibility of missing something, helps with any builds (reuse), but gives us a the chance to dig deeper. Example: search on terms like "indulgent", or "crispy" or "share" much faster
  • Total time to build: 1 hour

You can keep all of your organization information in one place without having to pay for it. You can make it your permanent knowledge base for training of your customers, without having to build another one on your website. However if you have multiple projects, then you need to either use the paid version or some other tool, as for the free version you are only provided with one free wiki.

  • Quickly reach out to whatever employee segment you want to reach by posting a topic and it will send a notification to everyone in that group with a link to the posting.
  • Bloomfire saves all of the previous posts so in your free time you can go to the site, and explore the various range of topics others have posted. The information on there will only be as good as the person posting it, but it will be people within your company and industry posting it. So it will always be helpful.
  • Bloomfire is a place to be noticed by your peers. Have a great topic you want to express, my company allows all to post there as long as we keep it professional. So you can share your ideas or experiences in a safe and productive manner. But we do have some fun on there too!

  • It is easy to do first deployment in wrong direction - maybe there should be better guidance how to setup services/service instances to properly work at the end.
  • Reporting is based on predefined templates - to get most of them you have to properly implement services in IT - it is not an easy process
  • Integration with O365 for out of office would be helpfull

  • Even for business plan, they provide 1GB storage/ User which is very less in case if you need to attach files, this must be upgraded without increasing cost.
  • It is no-where mentioned that where their data centers are located, in some countries like India it is legal compliance that data should reside in country.
  • They don't have adequate templates to start with.

Tool has built-in automation module which helps to more precisely define user requests or workflow condition. This from one hand gives end-user easy and understandable forms to fill in, and from other had it ensure all needed information has been fulfilled for further steps in workflow. Once you follow service principle which is base for that tool it will help you to track in detail your business and your partners

Bloomfire is an easy-to-use platform for posting information and asking questions of my peers. It also has a user-friendly search capability. Yet like any other CMS, the secret to success rests in such items as the ability to use metadata to tag content or posts, and Bloomfire provides a wide range of options to make posting content and subsequently searching for it.

I have not needed to pose questions to the support team yet, as it is a very simple piece of software to use, however, its help documents and the bot ready to answer questions let me know I am in good hands. The help center could load a little quicker, but that's my only complaint.

I like Bloomfire because it is more concise with the work I do whereas Google search engine would provide broader information. It has just been so user-friendly, and easier to use [than] I could have imagined. I would use this program over any other that I have tried in the past.

Confluence features were limited with the free version and our organization wasn't in a position to invest in a knowledge sharing platform, hence Zoho Wiki came in handy as it saved us on the extra cost which we could not initially afford. Also as we were already using other Zoho products which Atlassian was not offering, therefore Zoho Wiki was considered the best alternative.
