AppsFlyer

I would recommend this tool to any bigger company with a mobile app and bigger budget. This tool is extremely helpful when you're running multiple user acquisition campaigns and would like to better understand which channel works best, and why. In other words, this is great for mobile marketing initiatives and optimizations.

Zoho CRM

Zoho CRM is a great CRM for organizations of all sizes. It's best used as a tool to organize and communicate with clients and prospective clients. Our sales staff uses it on a daily basis to continuously keep notes on their communication with clients during the sales process.At times, it feels like Zoho CRM is trying to offer too much and it can be overwhelming if trying to use all features and capabilities. It's better to focus on a handful of features and get your organization using those features on a consistent basis than trying to incorporate everything that Zoho can do

  • OneLink is a great feature for deeplinking, I don't think any of AppsFlyer competitors offer anything similar

  • Zoho CRM has an incredible amount of features, from tagging contacts to social media integration (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc) and email capabilities.
  • Zoho CRM is very customizable. The entire look and feel of each page and account can be customized to fit your organization's needs.
  • Zoho CRM is just one of the products offered under Zoho's suite of software products. It easily integrates with other enterprise software like Zoho Project Management and Zoho email.

Cons

  • Kind of expensive, especially for SMBs
  • I’m not a huge fan of the dashboard UI and the mobile app is still a little buggy, but it keeps improving with every version, which is great.

  • One thing I have found hard to use was when trying to link certain opportunities to existing contacts. We have found the workaround for this but it was sincerely difficult for some time
  • I would ask for better coloring on the actual CRM face. The bright whites make it harder for someone like me to see. I have downloaded an add-on that allows me to change the background colors and I do appreciate that Zoho's site allows for this type of change.
  • I'd like to see a live chat feature on Zoho for quick help and simple questions.
  • One thing I found a bit more difficult to do was integrating my Gmail with Zoho. It was a bit of a difficult process but I was able to finally get it linked.

I think Zoho is a good tool for sales people that have some experience working in a CRM. As for managers, Zoho provides great information that can be analyzed to help guide new training, new strategies, and new approaches to help grow the business. Furthermore, Zoho provides our marketing team with great information around "deal type" and "industry" so we know where to spend our marketing dollars and who our ideal demographic can be for different campaigns.

Zoho CRM is extremely intuitive and allows users complete visibility of sales data through reports/analytics. The platform has wide native integration with other cloud-based business solutions. But, it's fairly simple to write scripts with their publicly available API.

Alternatives Considered

We actually did an integration with Kochava. Our integration was Server To Server. It did not work out - we never got the right attribution. It was also a challenge to verify a real end-to-end campaign with a mobile network. To be fair, this was done 3-4 years ago, and Kochava might have improved in the meantime.
I evaluated DoubleClick as a way for measuring mobile attribution but gave up when I realized that most of our audience is on Facebook. DoubleClick does not integrate with Facebook, but AppsFlyer does.

We evaluated Zoho, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and Salesforce and chose Zoho and HubSpot. Zoho CRM has all of the features that Salesforce and Pipedrive has, but is more affordable than Salesforce and has better UI than Pipedrive. HubSpot has more features for marketers than Zoho, so we use HubSpot for most of our marketing goals and Zoho CRM for both marketing and sales goals.
