Bloomreach pricing is quote-based. Bloomreach pricing is customized to the number of customers served, product catalog size, and the number of events executed – such as how many emails or SMS messages are sent.
MailChimp offers more flexibilty but also seems a bit more complicated to use. We did not use it long enough to really get an idea of the positive and negative.
It was not my direct decision but rather a business one, but I can say that compared to Klaviyo, Bloomreach makes it much easier to manage multi-language campaigns.
Back then it was more advanced solution than Emarsys and far more cheaper and easier to work on that Salesforce offers. Basically, what I understood then, We would need to buy 2 different solution from salesforce to be comparable to bloomreach.

Works well, relatively easy to use - but lacks some up-to-date and modern features as well as look and feel. The support provided is OK but not world class. It is too bad as APSIS as a company is quite good at inspiring and providing insights into trends in email marketing.
They've just been a great partner to work with. They put forth 100% when bringing platforms to the merchant and were highly prepared and knowledgeable during the sales cycle and implementation, and remained very connected post-implementation to ensure client success with the platform. Their CEO is always eager to sit down, talk shop, and listen to clients' needs, and you can tell from his enthusiasm that he cares about making this company the best in class.

The user interface is not good. Too much scrolling and too many menues to navigate. Half of the pages are updated to a "new" look with the rest still being the (really) old design. This badly needs a make-over.
There is no one-click "send reminder to those who did not open". To send reminders, it is nescessary to build a filter a do a new send using the filter. Such a simple and often repeated task should be automated.
It is not possible to add a "Why did you leave us?"-page for opt-outs... Really misses this.
The statistics are too limited and to difficult to use - mostly due to the UI design as described above.
So far, Hippo is our ideal tool given its use of open standards which helps us to have a clear overview of what's coming next in the future Hippo releases. We are very confident in the future-readiness of the product
In my time working with Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud, I always liked to work with it. It is crucial that you get support from experts from the beginning to show you how to work with the vast amount of options and activities to choose from. The learning curve is also well-rounded because of its user-friendly interface and highly skilled customer support.
The platform is generally reliable - major outages are rare and most day-to-day campaign operations run without interruption. Where it dips: occasional slowdowns in the analytics dashboard during peak loads, and sometimes scenario executions get delayed without clear explanation. The real-time event processing is mostly solids. Overall uptime is strong - it is not something that keeps me up at night, but it is not flawless either.
ten out of ten, Bloomreach has revolutionised our marketing capabilities. It has allowed us to get real time data insights from our customers, and then put these into action. Previously it would be a very time consuming and slow process for us to get any sort of campaign out but not anymore, this has lead to increased conversions and revenue
The project team consistently delivers excellent collaboration and is always available whenever assistance is needed. Their responsiveness and commitment make working together smooth and efficient. Bloomreach support, which is included for free in the platform, can also be quite useful, especially for quick clarifications. However, the quality and speed of their responses can sometimes vary, depending on the issue.

This is something none of the other tools could do nearly as well as Bloomreach.
there is an option of multiple projects per organisation, customers and assets can be copied across. Multiple sites can be managed in one project, different activities organized under initiatives. Splitting work into sensible units is therefore well possible. The billing is based on number of tracked and number of stored events, no package-based deals. It should therefore be well scalable from a small e-store to a large corporation.
We are still trying to figure out how to use this medium for sales. We have had some success with Black Monday sales, but in general we do not have much response to our emails.
We have increases our visibility with our customers by making sure to land in their mailbox regulary with nice looking messages.
