Attentive Mobile is great for those who actively want to build and talk to their community. The goal is to send two messages per week to optimize revenue while balancing out unsubscribes. If a client has trouble with content or finding appropriate marketing messages to send, Attentive Mobile might not be a good fit.

EZ Texting

If you have a smaller business or customer base then this is the platform for you. This likely wouldn't be the tool to implement into your website as a chat feature, but it would work for one time or recurring messages to increase communication. They also have nice features for text in or short codes.

  • The ability to set up our main business phone to receive texts is fantastic.

  • The archive system could be more user-friendly to be able to pull up previous campaigns and identify messages we would want to use again or slightly edit for reuse.
  • The use of different font tools such as bold, italics, etc. would allow for more expression in the messages being sent out.

Right now, based on budget, it's something we had to put on hold. We're not finished for sure, just waiting for the funds to continue use. I love EZ Texting and what it's done for us, and how it's connected us to our people, but the budget took a marketing hit, and this was an early casualty.

It's very simple to use to send messages immediately, to create keywords, and to add credits. However, it gets difficult in scheduling, as well as finding the reporting info that you're looking for. Sometimes things aren't where you'd assume they would be, and managing group lists can be a bit cumbersome once you add too many.

Fast and easy to communicate with. I wish we went over more insights and analytics on our monthly calls with our account manger. This would really give us the push that we need in order to best utilize the platform as a whole.

Their chat function or call support is easy to use for immediate help, as is their email support for times when I have a bit more of an involved question/issue. Their support staff are friendly and happy to help, and my interactions with them have always been positive. They've been able to solve my issue just about every time (and when they couldn't, it was because of a technology limit which they had no control over. There isn't a way to track if a voicemail has been delivered.)

The most important aspect of implementation was selecting a valuable keyword. When we first started using EZ Texting, we were able to grab a simple, easy word to use to connect people to our texts. That proved invaluable in our marketing and selling people on using the service. If we didn't have a good word, I would imagine it wouldn't have been as successful.

While ManyChat is specific to Facebook Messenger, my experience in their platform made it very easy to hit the ground running with Attentive Mobile. With the policy changes in the Messenger world, we have mostly abandoned that and moved to SMS for a direct line to customers. Attentive Mobile has much stronger ROAS with SMS than ManyChat had with Facebook Messenger.

I compared a few different alternative options prior to setting up EZ Texting. What made me want to go with EZ Texting over the others was the user-friendly platform and the price made the most sense for what we needed for our office. It also helped that the agent I spoke with to get initial information followed up with me and gave me a great feeling about the company as a whole

  • We can send information on the platform that people want to use it in -- directly in a text message.
  • We have around 300 volunteers in our organization, we can inform them instantly of timely updates. One example is church closing due to inclement weather.
