Echobox Social is well suited to publishers and media organisations who are publishing daily online content that needs sharing across social platforms. It works best if your social media objective is driving traffic to your articles/website. It would be suitable for both small and large organisations, as it allows multiple users with different access.

Sprout Social is well-suited for users with all levels of experience in social media publishing. It has a simple user interface and a great structure for approving content from new users. On the other hand, Sprout Social can be clunky for social listening when you're monitoring a specific news topic. It can be difficult to filter relevant content and exclude irrelevant posts.

  • Echobox automation is invaluable; the fact that it can intelligently automatically schedule articles within seconds of these being published on our website saves us a huge amount of time
  • I find the AI message option particularly useful when rescheduling content. Although it does not always pick out the best quote, most of the time it does a good job and again saves a lot of time
  • Having the option to schedule content immediately as well as in a specific time-slot or day is also very useful

  • Since I'm Brazilian, and our whole team is based in Brazil, would be great if the whole platform was translated for Portuguese. There are no many English speakers in Brazil, to be honest. That would make it easier
  • Tik Tok. Would be nice if somehow Echobox could provide their AI for Tik Tok Users

  • The publishing tool can be a bit quirky when you have edits and need to re-assign the workflow.
  • I believe they are adding it, but it would be nice to be able to edit posts for the different platforms in one window.
  • The reporting can be overwhelming because it offers so much.

Because I am totally satisfied with Echobox service. I find it balanced between the service itself and its cost. Compared to its competitors, it is, without a doubt, the best product for small publishers. It only lacks in a greater and more efficient management of statistics which, at the moment, is absent. I will definitely renew Echobox!

While I am currently no longer working with the company in which I was employed and utilized Sprout Social, I do know that the company is still utilizing Sprout Social on a daily basis and I do not foresee a time when the subscription would be cancelled.

The dashboard exemplifies elegant design and simplicity in use. The ease of learning and adoption by the team was remarkably fast. The AI-driven automation features make the scheduling of posts an agile and seamless process, saving valuable time. This is especially true for the creation and sending of newsletters, which previously required significant team resources, now optimized by our intuitive technology.

The tools themselves are fully comprehensive, and you have the scope to adapt them to your own individual ways of working. However, being part of a team that focuses on different aspects means there can sometimes be redundant features that could get in the way of the most optimal workflow for that user, and therefore, the UX can be a little more complex than necessary.

Uptime was OK, but given the fact that we are in Europe, there were some specific problems: They tended to take the system down for maintenance during the night in the US, which was during our workday. This was definitely problematic and hard to explain to our clients.

When there have been problems, they’ve usually been resolved very quickly. Some issues have occurred such as not being able to download images or posts not going out when the service has crashed, but they’re also very open to feedback. The option to download pictures loaded into the feed stories was my suggestion; saving us time creating new images and getting the posts out quickly

Sprout Social's customer support is extremely responsive. They're also always looking for suggestions on how they can make the product better and will actually take your ideas to their team to see if they're worth implementing. I've never had an issue that couldn't be resolved by them in a timely manner.

Their training is good, but the promotion of it is even better. I don't need or have the time for training, but I was always happy to know it was there. They did a great job sending updates out and making me aware when there was a new feature that I may want training for. As for the training I never used it, so I can't comment on that

Make sure you do it all the way. Do not break it into phases. Pour yourself a coffee, start it in the morning and you'll be done before you finish that coffee.

Echobox AI function (the ability to decide when is the best time to share a post) is a [game-changer] and also the UI is cleaner and easier to use. I found Hootsuite confusing and complicated. It has too many windows and also doesn't pull the articles automatically. There is no comparison really, Echobox is miles ahead.

I selected Sprout Social because the analytic reporting is much better (with more detailed results). I also went with Sprout Social because I was able to add many, many more accounts than I was able to with Hootsuite. On that platform, I was limited unless I paid into a much higher tier.

  • The activity of all our social networks improved significantly after the arrival of Sprout Social, now we can make more publications in less time for all our clients.
  • The high costs of Sprout Social memberships and the cost of adding a new team member to the system has had a negative impact on us. I hope I can pay less to use Sprout Social as the fees are currently too high.
  • I have generated greater satisfaction for our clients thanks to the fact that we keep active various campaigns on our social networks with this Sprout Social system.
