Likelihood to Recommend Evernote is an excellent tool for keeping track of client relationships and taking notes. The indexing is excellent, with text in images and text. However, a Wiki might be better for large-scale collaboration. It is a perfect use case for it, and it is hard to beat. To-do lists that need to be tracked or have due dates assigned do not work well in Evernote. It's almost like a library that anyone can add to, edit, tag, and reference. Evernote has a limited checklist function in terms of tasks meant to be kept in one place rather than reviewed and organized over time.
Read full review For content marketers, I would 100% recommend Monday.com. Applications like
Trello are OK for basic tasks, but I think Monday is superior when you're running campaigns alongside regular content plus ad-hoc tasks (or have more than one product to market). I can see it working well for different scenarios, like sales, customer service, and finance, but I can only speak for my industry.
Read full review Pros Ability to share meeting notes with others (like that it works well with Rocketbook). The To-Do list helps with organization and project deadlines. Able to sync to multiple devices so you can use it in the office or in the field. Read full review I love that I can color-code sections/folders (I love color-coding!) I love that I can automate the majority of things on Monday I love the support I'm able to get when I don't know how to do something specific, I set up a call and get tips/tricks on how to accomplish what I'm wanting Read full review Cons The free application's feature will meet most users needs, but the Premium plan is expensive. Though Evernote lets you create and manage notes effortlessly, its basic plan supports sync between two devices and does not support offline mode. Can't export data easily to other applications. Read full review The billing model is awful for small businesses! monday.com makes you feel like they are doing you a favour. You literally pay for seats you don't use. The billing model should be a per seat model! There are too many addons from monday.com and 3rd party vendors that you have to pay for. The value of those addons is debatable are often rebuildable outside of monday.com in a single use spreadsheet (which pay monthly for an addon that you only need to use once in a while?) or organisations are already using something else in their tech stack for that addon. Read full review Likelihood to Renew I can't really imagine how much they'd have to charge me to make me quit Evernote. I can't really think of any technology that has changed my life as much without going back to email in the 90s, or the introduction of the iPhone. I know I sound ridiculous, but it would be really tough for me to live without it. If I were forced to choose between my smart phone (and keep in mind that I get lost in my driveway) and my Evernote, I'd probably choose my Evernote.
Read full review Teams involved in content creation, such as marketing or editorial teams, could use monday.com to manage the entire content lifecycle. Boards might track content ideas, assignments, drafts, reviews, approvals, and publication schedules, helping teams collaborate and keep content production on track.
Read full review Usability Basic visual organization - ability to create a notebook and store user notes inside of it. Basic easy navigation - You can quickly move in and out of files and notes. User intuitive addition - whatever you need to add to your document, it's relatively easy to understand and use. We find overall that we still want some functionality in creating better task lists, boards, and other things that we find in Notion - which is the tool that we use as a team notebook/storage space. page V CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Read full review monday.com enables quick creation of a basic project plan. In our office, we don't need a big, expensive Project Management System. We need a simpler, human-usable Work Management System. Most recently, monday.com added the four Predecessor Types to their Dependency feature. FS, SF, SS, FF are now part of monday.com's Dependency offering. This was my most-needed update, and monday.com provided it! I appreciate monday.com's rich library of Templates. However, my preference is to duplicate a useful project/board, then update it for my next project.
Read full review Reliability and Availability Generally issues are by connectivity and not Evernote availability but I have had issues in the past with cross-client consistency of data which Evernote Support has ID'd as bugs that are still unresolved as far as I know

Read full review Everything performs fairly well. Every now and then there are user errors where an employee will not click "ok" on a note they've created and simply exit out (I do wish that something was in place to prevent this, such as a pop "are you finished?")
Read full review Support Rating I bet you won’t even need to call their support. Their product has never failed me. Simply put. But if you were to email them to gather some details or help, I bet they won’t disappoint you. Don’t worry about the support, it’s the last thing you should worry about this product.
Read full review Our CSM, Jonathan is AMAZING! He was only introduced to us a few months ago, and we've has fairly limited interactions so far, but he's an absolute legend! He seeks to understand our problems, workflows, etc. and carefully considers a positive outcome for us within the system's capabilities. He's a wealth of knowledge and we're really lucky to have him
Read full review Online Training To have someone walk you thru the features and capabilities of Monday.com is priceless. Someone also coming along later in the contract to see if you are maximizing the program to suit your company needs is beyond helpful. The staff that have provided this training are fun, creative and very patient.
Read full review Implementation Rating Make sure you think about your tags. If you end up with multiple similar tags then things aren't grouped together as you might prefer. For instance if you have a tag called Disney and Walt Disney, this will split up your articles. Evernote makes it simple to correct, but I suggest you make sure your users look closely at the existing tags before creating new ones.
Read full review We signed up for the accounts. Created the accounts. Ran the trial version and tested it live while we were running multiple projects and found that it was fitting our needs perfectly. When the trial ended and we were asked to purchase the full version, we did. We have found other ways to use it and it's a breeze.

Read full review Alternatives Considered The most similar program I have used is
OneNote by Microsoft, and other note taking programs exist like Notepad and Microsoft Word but those programs do not offer syncing like Evernote does. There are newer programs in the space like Dropbox Paper and Google Docs which would be on a list of ones to consider.
Read full review We used an excel spreadsheet to track our month end close process previously which created a lot of issues around only one person being able to be in the checklist at any given time. Additionally, we were unable to have excel notify us when a task we need to have completed was done, but Monday.com has completely changed that for us!
Read full review Scalability For it to work across multiple departments and sites, I would like to see improvements made with integrations and automation. For this question, I am acknowledging not only the addition of internal triggers/automation, but also an expansion on external ones.
Read full review Return on Investment Evernote has allowed our school's over 3000 students and staff members to work more efficiently instead of spending time on making physical notes, clicking pictures, and uploading them to the cloud in order to share them The investment in Evernote Premium has also allowed for heavier files to be attached in each note such as student work that allows teachers to be certain that students have followed deadlines and finished assigned tasks Evernote has allowed our school to smoothly transition in and out of online learning as the local COVID-19 protocols change and student work requires one platform to be based on throughout Read full review My favourite example? We used it to take a failed start-up, one where the prime investor was considering pulling out - to being a listed business (EURONEXT) within 18 months. That business now has a market cap at around $200m. Turnaround of a struggling health tech venture that was buried under endless spreadsheets by its investors - from loss-making to £2M EBITDA in two -years. Offshoring - Through the adoption of Monday as a key workstream management tool (moving off JIRA) we were able to reduce resource costs by over £2m per annum, without any change in efficiency or quality.
