There are many platforms to choose from when it comes to experimentation and personalization. We've found Kameleoon to be an excellent choice for those looking for a balance in capabilities (it checks all the boxes), cost-effectiveness, and a helpful customer success team paired with a responsive product team.

OptinMonster is a perfect tool for companies that want to convert website visitors that leave without providing any information. Having more email addresses gives you more prospects to sell your products and services. You can use OptinMonster campaigns to generate leads on blog pages that normally lack a call to action, or use them to capture abandoning visitors on important product or service pages. It is generally a pop-up software, so it can't necessarily replace any plugin or software that handles web forms.

I have yet to find a similar system that is as easy to use and comes with the type of support that Thrive Leads does. Sometimes support is a bit slow, but they always get back to you and nine times out of ten they can fix any problems on the first go. The flexibility of the form plugin itself is also excellent.

Interface of the graphics editor is quite conceptual. It is fine after a few days but it takes a little while to recognize some icons.
Their online tutorial could also be easily improved.
If you want to do major graphical changes on your website, you will have to inject JS and CSS code which requires some technical background but I don’t know if that point can be improved.
Analytics is probably the area for the biggest improvement. Other than showing how the number of visitors, number of conversions, and conversion rate, there isn't much else to the native analytics. It would be nice to see campaign metrics side by side. Otherwise, you have to view one campaign at a time. In the history of conversions graph, it doesn't overlay website traffic or show how the conversion rate has changed over time.
The only other area that may use improvement is their capable integrations. There are a few that are not provided, such as Kartra and Salesforce.

Kameleoon offers one of the best UI's I've seen when I've compared it to 4 of the other big competitors in the landscape. They have some improvement areas when it comes to the UX - Which is easily solvable if/when prioritized. There's a little to much "clicking" and "new tabs" in my opinion
I don't change the pop up texts and leave the service to work without tinkering. I don't particularly like the dashboard elements and design functionality. But the product does exactly what it is designed for.

Thrive Leads can be easily used by anyone who has the basic skills to work within the WordPress environment and who has the knowledge about lead capture and segmentation. As a lead capture tool, I think it's use is restricted to obtaining contact information in different settings, which it does flawlessly.

We have a very good relationship with our CSM and with Kameleoon’s technical team. We trust them fully to help us with the set-up of A/B tests and personalizations, analysis of results, and any technical matter that we may encounter. They always do their best to be as responsive as possible, and our communications are always very fluid.
I don't often need to contact their support team since their tools are quite easy to use and their documentation is well written. On the few occasions I haven't been able to find an answer on my own, their team was happy to help out in a timely manner.

In general, the support is great. When living in a different time zone, the support can seem slow but it's not. Most of the time, any issues I have get sorted out quickly and if it's not the first time, it generally gets fixed on the second go. Their knowledge base is good too although sometimes it's hard to search. Not usually their fault, more that users don't title their problems better.

We were looking for a new tool after Google sunset their tool. We tested AB Tasty and Kameleoon. Our dev team was unhappy with the weight of the AB Tasty tag and I found the level of service with Kameleoon much higher.
Bitly link tracking can show us how content is resonating with our different audiences. Links do direct traffic to websites where a new visitor can be invited to subscribe to a newsletter. We can see a spike in traffic on a certain link and this can be connected to new subscriber growth as visitors react to the OptinMonster plugin. The two products co-exist effectively.

I've used Optin Monster and Poptin on other projects. Both are good software for different use cases. Poptin is great if you are scrappy, just getting started, and you need a proof of concept and want to keep costs low until you've tested the market. Poptin isn't anywhere near as easy to use as Thrive Leads, but that $0 price tag is meaningful while you are just getting started. OptinMonster isn't as easy or intuitive to use as a builder, but the advantage is that more VAs have used Optin Monster as have used Thrive Leads, so you often don't have to do as much training. I would consider OptinMonster in cases where a website isn't build using Thrive Themes and where an incumbent VA is already well versed in the software.

Since we started using Kameleoon, our ROI indicators are all green. Truth is, we rely on exigent customers. If they’re not happy with our service, we will pay for it on the long term. Kameleoon helps us making sure this is not happening by providing us the tools to continuously improve our customers’ experiences.

For several clients that we have implemented OptinMonster for, we have had a significant increase in leads, which keeps our clients happy and we retain the business.
Campaigns are quick to set up, so it saves us significant time versus having to go to a web developer to build pop-ups or web forms. We can add something that goes "on top" of the website and turn it on and off with ease or change display rules to adjust how we want to use it.
