Medallia can be used as a stand-alone customer experience management system but I find great value in using Medallia completely integrated with Salesforce. It then creates a force to be reckoned with. In B-to-B this it is very important to have a real-time customer experience system so that you know what your customers are saying at any given minute. And I can't begin to tell you how important this is for a SaaS company.

SurveyMonkey

Survey Monkey is easy to use, which makes it a practical option for pretty much any occasion, regardless of who's using it - a manager, an analyst, an executive etc. The very intuitive interface makes it user-friendly enough for even the busiest person to set up a survey, customise it to their own specifications, send it over to the various stakeholders, track responses and report on those responses. I've also used it to send surveys to very large groups of people, so I can definitely say that Survey Monkey is easily scalable, whether you're building a survey for one person, ten people, or hundreds of people - or even if you're building multiple surveys at once (e.g. for A/B testing).

  • A strength for SurveyMonkey is that it is very user friendly. If one should become stuck in an area, the guides that are provided work nicely.
  • Allowing for a large number of participants to be mailed at once is a huge plus.
  • Being able to offer providers a link directly, being FB friendly, is a HUGE plus for our business.

  • I would like to be able to save questions that I create into a "bank" that can easily be added to any new survey that I design.
  • The first suggestion is a precursor to my next suggestion, which is to be able to select one question from my bank and analyze the results for that question across all of the surveys that it is placed in (meta analyze)
  • Allow sharing of survey responses by collector only.

It's very budget friendly. I think we pay a little over $200 a year for our annual subscription and we pretty much use it on a monthly basis to get feedback from our members on meetings, conferences, trade shows and gathering contact info.

The interface it too packed with info and promotions. there isn't a clear distinction between the task-related components on the screen, and upgrade promotions, tips etc. much noise.

I reviewed a number of platforms and Medallia was at the top for a B-to-B environment and had an easy way to integrate with Salesforce and have all that was needed right in Salesforce.

I have never used any other Survey Software/Program, because Survey Monkey has never let me down! If I were to need to find another program to use, I would most likely use the Internet and word of mouth and try to gather recommendations/referrals, but again, I have never felt it necessary to do so.

  • In the past, we would send out paper surveys and maybe get a 25% response rate, with SurveyMonkey I get back about 65-75% and almost all surveys
  • It can't hurt to try it, I have had no negative issues with it and if anything it makes my life a little easier. I am all for that.
