NetSuite ERP isn't comparable to QuickBooks Online or Xero as they are lightweight software and NetSuite ERP can do quite a heavy lift. Sage Intacct wasn't as modern and reporting was more difficult.
NetSuite ERP is one of the big player in accounting software. I have good working experience with this software. it helps us to do more smart work instead of hard work. Provide more features and making business numbers easy and accurate. Along with that if helps us in many ways …
Quickbooks is easy to learn and set up for smaller companies that have yet to scale. We decided to invest in NetSuite because it will have the required functionalities, but it has taken some time to transfer over.
NetSuite ERP is a much more comprehensive accounting ERP software than the other two mentioned. It is designed for bigger organizations who have more complex accounting things to account for. I believe NetSuite ERP is the best ERP system to use for our necessities. The other …

NetSuite ERP it probably the best of the ERP systems I have used. Quickbooks is really intended for smaller companies and SAP for very large (though it is not very flexible and navigation of the system is a nightmare). Openbravo was probably the most flexible of the systems but …
I have used NetSuite, Intacct and QuickBooks. If I were building an accounting function (budget aside), I would always pick NetSuite as my ledger. I think it is far superior to other general ledger softwares on the market. NetSuite also has so mean features, modules and …
NetSuite is so much easier to navigate. QuickBooks bank recon is very difficult, including the view and going backwards to fix something in a prior month. NetSuite, everything is so visible and there are multiple reports you can pull to figure out what something might be off. …
On more than one occasion, we have evaluated alternative software. No one has the depth and breadth of a solution (for us) than Oracle NetSuite. Again, they were first to the cloud market all the way back in 1998 and they have such a lead against the competition. Some of the …

I think QuickBooks Online is better than Xero. However I think is is lower then NetSuite and Sage Intacct. The system isself is great because it's cloud based so it can be accessed readily. However, in my opinion, it's not built for companies that are growing or expect to grow. …

NetSuite does more, but is expensive and difficult to implement and support, especially without a costly integrator. QuickBooks Online gets the job done at a good cost, provides most functionality that firms like mine need and much lesser cost.
QuickBooks pales in comparison to netsuite. Netsuite is a fully functional cloud based ERP system that is a mid tier solution for companies that have outgrown small business solutions. It was intuitive and allowed for full cycle accounting, procurement processing with …
I do use Xero and NetSuite for other companies. I started using Xero a few years ago because QuickBooks Online features were very limited and didn't have the ability to convert a QuickBooks desktop file. I have been impressed with QuickBooks Online's advancements. I think it …

Product Lifecycle Management
Comparison of Product Lifecycle Management features of Product A and Product B
NetSuite ERP is deployable in both cloud and on premise which ensures time value. Real-time data integration capabilities and effectiveness of the software in managing invoices, inventory, taxation and deductions. The product is in compliance with financial and accounting regulations. I find the product well suited when it comes to insights management and fueling of informed decision making.
Since we run outside payroll for a couple of the companies, it is quite difficult to be as accurate as I would like when it comes to categorizing those payroll transactions, since they have to be imported via journal entries. Between that and the lack of a complex inventory management, are really my only complaints of the software. I do like the accessibility for myself, my employees, and my clients of the online version, something you don't get with desktop versions.
Flexibility of the tool in building and customising cases and affordable cost of implementation.
Ease of use and existence of 24/7 customer support services.
The product is cloud based and powered by the latest ERP technologies. Its implementation deliverers brilliant customer experience and world class enterprise resource planning services.
Workflows for accounts payable invoice review are terrific.
Bill payment allows you to pay vendors online via ACH or check without having to write a physical check, which reduces admin time.
The cloud based login lends well to a remote or hybrid work environment for staff.
QuickBooks Online allows you to pre-configure vendors' general ledger expense accounts. This helps with general ledger coding accuracy and consistency.
QuickBooks Online integrates with Rippling HRIS, Coast, Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, etc., which lends well to an efficient month-end closing and reduced administrative time.
Reports. I wasn't happy with the reporting. I don't think we're there yet. I understand better now the safe search functionality, but still when it comes to doing the monthly financial package, I rely on a different product.
I think they could be hard to use based on roles and permissions. I learned if you don't set those up the right way, you don't get visibility into the NetSuite data, and could be challenging.
I just watched the other data bill capture, and I was surprised to see that they only allow five pages for invoices. So I really want more than five pages. I want it unlimited.
Purchase Orders cannot be linked to multiple bill payments which makes tracking purchase orders in QuickBooks Online obsolete. Without the function we have to track this within a different more manual spreadsheet.
Would be helpful if you could "split" bank transactions directly from the "review" downloads from the bank. Currently, to split transactions to multiple accounts we need to first categorize, then review after assigning to 1 account.
NetSuite is able to cover all of our needs, spanning multiple departments and managerial levels. We use it daily for a multitude of functions, including creating promotions, estimating inventory, pulling historical reports, forecasting sales, and more. Overall, we're very satisfied with NetSuite as an ERP solution and recommend it to medium to large businesses.
It like the product 'right out of the box' and I trust Intuit will continually improve it over the years based on my experience with their desktop products. The large providers of Apps makes customizing the entire package relatively easy and seamless for a wide variety of business types.
NetSuite ERP is a simple UI, but leaves a lot to be desired. It's very useable, but sometimes not useable enough. For a system that has many functions, there will, never be a one size fits all, so it's understandable. I gave an 8 because it' a heck of a lot more useable than shuffling through multiple systems to achieve one, multi-departmental goal of closing, fulfilling and billing an order.
I had very little trouble setting up the program and migrating from our old accounting system. The daily usage is also very intuitive and easy. Anytime we run into minor trouble with the program, there are always tons of help available on YouTube, so we don't even look up the online manual anymore.
It has been very reliable. I can only think of 1-2 times in 4.5 years that we have had issues getting in, and in each case were able to get back in within 1 hour. There has not been a major downtime
Most of the time the performance is very good. Pages load in a few seconds; financial reports take less than 5 seconds; basic searches take a few seconds. But performance can be sporadic throughout the day and cause the run time to triple.
There are tab issues. When I tab the field doesn't highlight and I have to backspace or delete what is in the field. Happens on the memo field and sometimes other fields. Very time consuming.
I would like to give 8 rating for NetSuite support and reason for that is below: Whenever we faced any technical or functional issues we tried to reach out to NEtSuite support but response was not immediate. We told them about the urgency of the issue but still we were not getting response on time. Then, we have to reach out to AE to get things resolved.
In my experience, most representatives keep me on the phone for hours, literally, for a single issue and then usually cannot resolve it satisfactorily. I have 10 open cases that need resolution and, in my experience, there has been NO follow-up communication on any of them.
I had in person training for a day when first got the software. The training was good. The challenge was that there was a large gap between training and when we went live so we forgot quite a lot
I felt NetSuite Professional Services did an excellent job of guiding us in the implementation. I also felt our internal teams were a little resistant to the change and engagement of new software. Had we performed better engaging and buying into the new software, I would be able to rate the implementation better. Therefore, the lower number should not be viewed as a deficiency with the software or the professional services teams, but as an reminder of how important complete buy-in from the local users is.
The person in charge of QB needs to be very accurate with record keeping and is recommended to stay on top of tasks. The biggest issue we have is reconciliation, and those issues occur only when too much time has occurred between reconciliations
I was not the selector of the vendor for NetSuite ERP, and it is now the interface I am most used to. I would recommend SAP and their full suite of products, currently only using Concur, as I think it has a slightly cleaner and less cluttered interface, however I do not know if it has all the many features that we use in NetSuite ERP as a global organisation of many individuals.
My employer was already using Quickbooks when I got here. As the Executive Director, I do all the day-to-day accounting. This program is easy to learn and use. I was able to add budgets by class so I can run P&Ls for each of the different programs as well as an organizational budget.
We have been able to scale our business 25X without any major overhaul with Netsuite. Its dashboard setup makes onboarding new employees very easy and allows data to be shared across multiple offices. Its cloud setup does not put any pressure on IT to scale servers or other infrastructure. We have been able to become much more efficient in all aspects of the business.
As we have grown along our professional path, we have also expanded our use of QB. The scalability is easy and features seem to be waiting for you until you need them. We have increased profits by over 10x from our first year in business to the current and have yet to find a reason to look elsewhere
I would say it has been a great ROI. I'm fairly new to Titan, but I will say especially at my last company, which is a retail company, the ROI was almost immediate because the systems that they were using were really suffering and it was affecting the bottom line. So NetSuite was a savior for them, really in the most literal sense. They would not have survived very much longer on the systems that they had. So to go to something like NetSuite where everything was all together in one platform was a huge advantage. And it didn't take long for us to realize that investment was well worth it.
QuickBooks has given us a useful portal by which to get an overview of our financials.
QuickBooks has given us a relatively easy way to send out invoices quickly and efficiently.
Due to the customization limitations on QuickBooks, we've had to get creative in third-party implementations to better represent our brand and to track financials.
