Paypro powered by UKG Ready is offered as an all-in-one HR solution that makes the day-to-day better for a company's people. Paypro support teams average 5+ years at Paypro and 10+ years in the industry creating an industry-leading service experience that has led to a 95% client retention rate and an unheard of average customer relationship approaching a decade. • Paypro aims to help organizations become a great place to work by building people-centric, life-work technology that meets…
Paycor has a lot all in one place and it has been helpful for both the client and the users to navigate and execute our needs. From creating and posting our schedules to payroll processing with Tax assistance to HR and onboarding, and benefits integrations with live feeds. Along with their reporting system to be able to over view everything that the client has going on
Paypro Workforce Management has custom report building that is easy to use and manipulate for data you need to pull. The onboarding system is overly complicated and not user friendly. Workflows are overly complicated and a workflow for PAFs is non-existent, causing our company to have to use paper PAF forms.
ACA - the ACA support was phenomenal. It was SO easy.
Payroll - Easy to use and easy to edit.
Performance Reviews - Customizable and has some AI features incorporated
Benefits - User Friendly with so many options for administrative reports.
Recruiting - intuitive design, easy to read and get a snapshot of information. Can add non-manager to review applications which is very helpful when team interviewing.
Setting up new employees is very easy and only takes a couple of minutes.
We have union and non-union employees, and we have both salaried and hourly employees. Workforce One lets us set up rules based on the union CBA, our office holiday schedule, etc., so we don't have to make many adjustments to timesheets when we have situations that deviate from the norm. The rules kick in and handle the situation for us.
Paycor's customer support is very impersonal, and it's often hard to find an actual person to take ownership of your problem. Until recently, we had a dedicated account rep whose feet we could hold to the fire when problem resolution was stalled, but even that has been eliminated in favor of a "Shared Success Team."
The navigation is cumbersome. Accessing specific areas of an employee's profile now requires multiple clicks, each of which requires a screen reload. This doesn't sound like a major problem, but when you're working through dozens of employees to make changes, it can really slow down your day.
Paycor assured us at time of purchase that their product was cohesive throughout all its components: payroll, benefits, recruiting, etc. Our experience has been to the contrary. There are many areas in the product where the seams show through and the interface style changes as third-party software takes over. Benefits enrollments don't always communicate cleanly to payroll, for example, and it's not uncommon for us to find enrolled employees with no payroll deductions for their insurance.
Report Writing: Canned reports are antiquated like a dinosaur. Users should be able to design their own reports like all other systems. Click and it's there. Currently, it's not at all what it can be.
Very rigid with contract: meaning when a rule change and/or policy has changed the company is charged in order to make the change.
Integration within the system. There are times when you change the information in the system then it randomly changes another section.
The product is really good overall. The customer service is not the best and the benefits administration is kind of painful. However, the good outweighs the bad. We might get a different benefit admin system that can be integrated into Paycor. My controller doesn't want to switch anything for a [long] time.
We are very happy with the product, our experiences using the product, and the continued support that we have received from the Paypro staff. We fully intend to keep our relationship with Paypro on solid ground. We are not considering replacing this product.
Paycor is very easy to use and has a great UI/UX. Our employees enjoy the Perform features such as recognition, goals, and performance reviews. It is very easy to navigate and it's great to be able to tell our employees Paycor has everything they need from an HR standpoint (paychecks, taxes, benefit cards, schedule, etc). The system looked a lot more modern than others we demoed and is very easy to navigate
The system is very thorough, has an efficient layout, and is very user-friendly. It can handle massive amounts of data and spit it out in manageable and useful chunks. We obtain tons of workable data from the various reports that the system can provide us. When it comes to payroll and HR, it can handle everything that you need.
I feel like support will transfer you back and forth between departments and put you on hold forever. I believe it is very difficult to see the status of an open ticket. During my experience, it feels like the client has to push all communication and request updates from support regularly.
I am always able to get an answer to my questions as soon as I ask. If there is an associate that can not answer my question - they will make sure that someone else helps me. The company is very responsive.
Implementation of any new software is going to be challenging, especially if you are maintaining an existing program concurrently. When it is time for dual-processing (both old and new software) prior to going live, be prepared to be stressed. But trust the process and it will be over soon.
The Paypro team was organized, professional, kept you on the budgeted timeline, followed up, was patient, experienced and truly cared. You would never think there were understaffed!
Paycor is very similar, but seems to have taken the opportunity to make improvements based on what client's want/need, have an effective customer support system, and has more intuitive user experience. The others were smaller less robust systems that we evolved out of. Trakstar Hire is our current ATS, which isn't perfect but works for now.
We have used in-house systems, ADP Total Source, and Valiant Services. This system, in my opinion, is more user-friendly and faster than others. We have more control on our end to process with flexibility that other systems just did not offer.
Workforce save time in processing . The company can manage the payroll , process by one employee. The company used to have two employees to split the whole company dept; now one employee can manage the whole process.
