Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Alpine IQ to manage the [...] loyalty program, [...], and reward our customers for every dollar they spend at our store. We also send text and email campaigns thru Alpine IQ. From the first time I had a demo of the software, I could tell that it was well designed and much easier to use than the product we had been using. From the sales to onboarding process, we were well taken care of by the Alpine team and had regular check-in calls to learn the platform. All of our questions were answered and as we set things up we found it to be very user friendly. I love the interface, the way the analytics are presented, and their customer support. We have not been using it very long yet, but we are already seeing the benefits of the platform in higher open and conversion rates and growth to our loyalty list. I am excited to continue learning the platform and will be completing their certification program. Very happy with our investment in Alpine IQ so far and excited for the future!

Pros

  • Customizable email and text campaigns make it easy to brand our messaging.
  • In my experience, audience segmenting is easy and very robust for precise targeting.
  • In my opinion, analytics and reporting are easy to understand.

Cons

  • I wish there was an option to add a-la-carte features to their plans, because the difference in cost between starter plans and the next step up is too much for us to afford.
  • More features available to the starter packages would be nice.

Return on Investment

  • So far we have seen higher open and conversion rates than previous messaging platforms.
  • The way it integrates with our POS makes it much easier on our team to use and to encourage customers to sign up for the loyalty program.

We utilize Alpine IQ to keep track of and communicate with our patrons. With our current POS provider we don't have the option to send out information or promotions natively. Alpine IQ gives us the flexibility to stay with our current POS partner but integrate a rewards system as well. Our customers are able to not only track and utilize their points, but shop directly from the interface as well.

Pros

  • Merging Profiles - If multiple profiles exist with the same name, it's super easy and intuitive to combine
  • Persona Searching - Easy to find guest by any of a few pieces of personal information
  • Data Analytics - Not exactly real time but a great display of instore trends and KPI's

Cons

  • Update Frequency - Closer to real time would be great

We operate multiple brick and mortar retail stores in Massachusetts and Michigan as well as selling our products on the Massachusetts wholesale market. With so many facets to our company and brands of our own, we needed a robust suite of outbound marketing and customer retention tools. Fortunately for us, we found Alpine IQ!

In an increasingly crowded retail environment, spread across multiple states, we needed a way to effectively communicate and retain our customers. By leveraging AIQ's email and SMS campaign tools, we've been able to do just that. We've seen our list of subscribers grow to roughly 80,000 and we're able to put attractive promotions in front them quickly and easily. Better still, the robust reporting features AIQ offers makes drilling down into the data generated by each campaign simple and allows us to further refine our messaging.
