  • This product has allowed us to pick an application that scales to our growth saving us from picking up a new product as we push forward.
  • Cost effective and creating more efficiency from our salesforce has boosted our productivity.
  • I can't say enough on the ease of use and how quickly we were able to see results.

  • Our company prides itself on its responsiveness to customer requests. As a consequence of that, we need to be able to follow up consistently on issues until they are solved and goldmine helps us do that.
  • Because of its ease of use and wealth of information, it allows us to react to customer queries quickly and with a familiarity that instills confidence in our customers.
  • The lag on the other hand, since we have kind of choked it with too much information, slows us down. I understand we're using it for more than it was designed for, but as businesses grow and customer demands increase we need our technology to improve at the same rate.

  • GoldMine has allowed our team of 15 to see immediately what impact we have on recruiting students - specifically we can track calls and messages
  • We can communicate more effectively and with more authority to students as we can be confident of what has been done for them in the past and immediately see what items they may have outstanding, with very few clicks (if any at all)
  • GoldMine allows our team to make changes to a student record in a user-friendly format and updates the record immediately. This ensures that incorrect information does not go out.

  • Documentation and easy access to documentation regarding a particular customer or contact.
  • While utilities exist to re-align territories and other assignments in Goldmine they are not always well documented so even if you are savvy and want to implement some functions yourself you will likely need a VAR support person to do the job for you -- at least the first time.
  • Typically, I have found support to be responsive and prompt. More importantly, even with drive failures, we rarely suffer any downtime with Goldmine.

  • Positive - Better customer service - if staff are appropriately trained in how to use it, it is helpful for knowing what kinds of communication someone has received and what information is still needed for a student to, say, complete an application.
  • Negative - extensive hand data-entry/lag-time between inquiry and first lead generation.

  • Without GoldMine when I started out, I don't know how we would have managed starting the business and chasing large numbers of leads (bought in and sourced). In my view, it paid for itself within months.
  • Once you know it well, I believe that the product works well in giving a true CRM view of your activities with a client and I rely on it heavily still. functionality such as Dashboards have been around in GoldMine since I can remember, just called Graphical Analysis and we used this to measure Telesales activity amongst users
  • The Opportunity Manager has a feature which measures "days open" and in my view this is a great KPI since most of the time , depending on the project you will have an pretty good idea of how quick a project will land. Using this measure instantly shows which projects are starting to drift! And thus, need some sort of action
  • We have a rule that if it's not in GoldMine, then it didn't happen and this I think ensure activities are completed. Which means as a Mananger you can measure quickly employees efficiency
