A statistical tool for everybody
- JMP is a very niche area that has helped our organization be a specialist in.
- The better JMP is the more opportunities open up for us.
JMP is a great tool for beginners
- It is a really great tool because it makes machine learning approachable.
- That is hard to say since it was purchased for me and so I don't know how worth it was. I really liked using the program.
- Reduced manufacturing costs.
- Quickly identify manufacturing concerns.
- Easy to generate data plots to communicate data to cross-functional teams.
Most User Friendly Statistical Analysis Software I've Used
- Saves time in the sense that I no longer have to use multiple software to store data
- Stores huge data sets and is organized in a manner which promotes efficient analysis
We saved millions using JMP 4.0, what can you do with JMP 15+?
- JMP has resulted in literally millions of dollars in ROI due to identification of correctable errors.
- Use of JMP control charts JMP has greatly simplified and improved interpretation of Lean, FMEA, and PDSA type analyses.
- Use of JMP has enable the testing and subsequent selection of 'best practices' saving uncounted hours in false starts based on 'collective experience'.
- The down side is that JMP is not a 'magic box', one still has to take care in applying the tools properly. Moreover, time-consuming approaches using JMP may still be the 'order of the day', because the service (even power user) is unaware of significant shortcuts available for free on the JMP community website.
JMP Statistical Software - Great for quick data visualization as well as detailed analysis
- JMP Statistical Software has been used throughout our company to analyze data and find solutions to problems that would have otherwise been extremely difficult to discover.
- It saved our time in processing the data, so our ROI was good on that.
- We get detailed results very easily, SO we hired a few statisticians and basic programmers. Rather full team of data scientists.
JMP - A user friendly statistical analysis program
- Much wider use of statistical analysis across the whole organization.
- Streamlined regular data processing.
- Led to better coordination among other programs such as Excel.
JMP right into statistical analysis
- Work faster, more efficiently and reduce costs thanks to design of experiment
- Discovered relations and trends unseen before thanks to analysis of large sets of data
- Allowed visualisation of data and presentation in a format unseen before
JMP: Excellent tool for regression!
- ROI: Even if the cost can be high, the insights you get out of the tool would definitely be much more valuable than the actual cost of the software. In my case, most of the results of your analysis were shown to the client, who was blown away, making the money spent well worth for us.
- Potential negative: If you are not sure your team will use it, there's a chance you will just waste money. Sometimes the IT department (usually) tries to deploy a better tool for the entire organization but they keep using the old tool they are used too (most likely MS Excel).
JMP away from cumbersome Excel workbooks
- JMP has sped up almost all of the report-outs we were creating from Excel. Once the script is written, you won't have to do anything besides update your database(s).
- JMP really makes you concatenate column information. It definitely makes everything faster as soon as you understand how to organize your initial data table.
- Some graphs from Excel (especially time to survival) are quite difficult to censor and separate multivariate data, so you probably won't be able to get rid of Excel completely.
JMP for preliminary data analysis
- Positive impact. JMP facilitates the initial stages of data exploration and analysis.
JMP is awesome!
- None, it's priced better than competitors
JMP from engineering perspective
- The positive impact from using JMP is that it help visualize the data set, which can be easily assessed and understood by others who may not be in my field or area of expertise.
- JMP script is helpful since it streamline the data report, and made the data analysis process more efficient and much faster.
- One feedback I got was that JMP jrn lost its interactive when convert to other format. It would nice that jrn can be opened by other mainstream popular software.
Jmp your way to success in analyzing your data
- Faster conversion
- easy visual analytics
- Decision making through data became easy
JMP for Process Engineers in Semiconductor Manufaturing
- JMP has allowed myself and other engineering peers to solve process problems faster and identify issues that lead to customer dissatisfaction.
One-stop-shop Stat Analysis Tool - JMP
- JMP tech support is great, and very helpful. It allows me to go beyond my current experience with JMP and learn new things by asking questions. This empowers me to solve problems using JMP when no other tools available
- One-stop-shop Stat analysis tool is awesome. Especially now with powerful Reliability module
Research and design use of JMP
- JMP is the data analysis package for all analysis
- training is time constraint - sometimes it feels like I need a full time trainer and expert to keep others up to date.
Why JMP is a ‘go to’ statistical package
- Finding best In Vitro match conditions and saving on expensive clinical In Vivo trial
- Great troubleshooting tool to data-mine and resolve problems
- Great interactive visual tool to present solutions to upper management to explore 'what if' scenarios right away
JMP, visually appealing to users
- None, we mainly utilize R for our advanced analysis.
- I guess we do now have some pretty graphics to display to the board. Graphics are always nice when presenting data.
A beginner's review to JMP
- Definitely greater employee efficiency
- Ability to greater use statistical analysis and group data
- Increased employee efficiency (frees up programmers)
- improved presentations to customer
JMP for Gene Expression Analysis
- good customer service
- We are able to complete better analyses, much faster in JMP, compared to Excel.
- JMP's predictive modeling has helped us better understand our customers.
- Analyzing models from DOE with JMP has allowed more robust product design. I'm not at liberty to give the specific numbers, but the difference was significant
- Numerous times we have been spared the lost resources of pursuing a problem that was NOT statistically justified by being able to show the data
- With the visualization capabilities of JMP we reported rigorous testing from our R&D lab and were able to convince board members of a necessary process change that was previously held up, not from lack of data, but from excess emotion.
