With travel softball, there are communications that need to go out across the entire organization, to individual teams, or to specific families. Team Snap enabled us to solve that communication problem and has become our go-to platform for all organizational data.
  • New feature rollout.
  • Contact management.
  • Stats and integration with external apps.
  • Invoicing and financials could be more developed.
Anytime there are instantaneous communications that need to go out across a number of different mediums. It ensures that everyone is on the same page.
  • Streamlined communication.
  • Less overhead.
TeamSnap has most, if not all, functions associated with running the organization within one interface.
They are great at being responsive. Not much proactive communication relative to how to better use the platform.

I would find it rare that Team Snap would be used for business purposes. We have been using this for a massive organized team since September 2016. We organize 6 practices a week, across three teams (Mens, Womens, Novice). We use this for all team building events, fundraisers, and matches, as well as chat, emails, and contact information. We also use the file storage for logos, bylaws, and release of liability forms.
  • Scheduling.
  • Notifying.
  • The app can be iffy.
  • Updates on some carriers come faster than others.
We use this for an organized sports team of roughly 85 members, spouses, coaches.
I like you can email certain folks and not others. Chat is iffy. I tried to turn off the notification but it still vibrated, so I had to turn off notifications in full. Again, I am not sure how a business would use this, but it manages all of our practices, meetings, and matchups.
  • Accountability.
  • Dedication.
This was our first choice, and we have not tried any other entity for this specific purpose. The app came highly rated and many "moms" on our team already used it for kids soccer teams or other sports teams they were a part of, be it recreational or school. Ease of use is key, as we are all adults and didn't need any young social media platforms.
I would have to say that for the most part, the only time we have had to use CS is when we needed to update the board members from year to year. Then we have a new administrator, or "owner" of the platform. We would then need to transfer the email from one person to another. Otherwise, even with billing, there have been no issues. It's flawless and well worth the cost.

I use TeamSnap as part of a men's athletic club. We use it to keep track of participation and communicate important messages to all participants.
  • I receive a notification as soon as a game is scheduled.
  • I am able to respond and confirm my participation at the next event.
  • I can see other participants who have replied and communicate any messages to the team.
  • It would be nice to see who has viewed the notification message but has yet to respond.
  • I would like to have an idea of how many people have viewed a message sent to the team.
  • It's hard to know which communication channel is more effective - sending a message or using the chat feature.
TeamSnap is well-suited for team communication and registering attendance at events and games. It doesn't work as well as a lot of other apps when you need to know who has viewed a message. And it would be great to see when people have opted out of receiving notifications of messages.
  • We use the app for a recreational club, so it hasn't directly correlated to business.
  • The app does make it to connect with those whom you might not connect otherwise.
